Tequila Y Tacos Cantina & Taqueria — Restaurant in Ennis

Yep, it's a bar. Not bad food, but not a nice place to eat - hard and pointy and rings like a bell (hoseable interior). This place advertises the nastiest tasting fluid known to man (tastes the same coming up as it did going down) - to drink - imagine that. After you throw that up, you won't want to eat for a while. We'll get past that and just talk about their food: My wife had a pastor con pina bowl (11) and she liked it. I had the veggie burrito (9) with guacamole (2) and I liked it as well. We split a very nice Jamaica (3). Server was perplexed when I asked her what she had for the vegetarian - she said she didn't know what that was - to be fair, she said it was her first day (of what?). Did I mention this is a bar?

As with anyone who doesn't like being around drug addicts, I won't be back. Remember: alcohol kills the same way as heroin - if you OD, you'll need someone to breathe for you until you get to the hospital. Plan to pass out in a position that minimizes your potential to barf...

We were just driving by. We choose Enis as the town we were sleeping in after driving for 4hrs. Not going to lie we were a little skeptical of this place BUT boy were we wrong!! It was a Wednesday night, so it was slow BUT we had a GREAT experience!! Paola was our bartender & we loved her!! She was so down to earth & very knowledgeable of the drinks and food! I can't tell you what specific drinks we had, but everything she recommend was great! The place only had about 6 or so other customers so normally my wife and I would say it's probably not good. But with it being a Sunday night I figured it has 4.9 star rating let's give it a shot. OMG what a great choice, I started with the Mango Margarita that was awesome. The Queso was just right. My wife got the Quesadillas and I got the Quesobirria Tacos and was not disappointed at all.
