We went into the store to upgrade my husband's phone and add a line. We walked away with what we intended, however, I was disappointed in what we were charged. I've never been charged $35 per phone for "set up". I thought that was wild. They don't show prices for any accessories. When I looked at the computer to see what he was charging us, I saw $40 for screen protectors and cases. (2 of each) When I said to my husband that we should wait to get those somewhere else, the guy helping us said "I'll give you 50 % off". At least that's what both my husband and I thought he said, but that is not the discount that was given to us. When we asked him about upgrading our data plan (as we were adding a line) he suggested we not do anything, however, when we called Verizon later to get help with a feature, they told us we were close to going over our data and it would make sense to change the plan. It was $15 to add 1 GB if we went over or to go ahead and add 8 GB to our monthly plan for an additional $17. Maybe he thought he was saving us money, but he wasn't. It wasn't the worst customer service I've ever experienced, but I do think they are not up front and honest with their charges and the cost of the items in...
Read moreWent in to Cellular Sales back in July to purchase a new phone for my fiance and add her line to my account. The employee Mickey informed us that since we were adding a line to the account, that we could get a "buy one get one free" deal from Verizon, if I also got a new phone. We agreed this seemed like a great deal. He told me I could choose the newest version of my Android phone, or another iPhone. I didn't need a new phone, but if the second one would be free, I figured why not. He explained that after 3 billing cycles Verizon would have a credit on the bill each month for the cost of the second phone. This never happened. After putting a case in with Cellular Sales, they told me that there was nothing they could do, because this deal wasn't good when it was made with us. Basically, they made it my problem, instead of giving the phone credit and honoring the deal that their in store employee Mickey made with me. Check your paperwork, do not take their word. Deceptive business practices here, and they don't care to...
Read moreQuite literally the worst experience I've ever had buying anything. I stopped by here to take advantage of a black friday sale since I was travelling in texas and this was the closest verizon store. Bought 3 phones and had them shipped to my house. First time they arrived, one phone was broken and another was in the wrong color. Trying to contact the store is an exercise in patience to say the least. The sales representative does not pick up my calls and the person answering the phone at the store just says my guy is busy with another customer and will call me back. I get about one response via email a week if im lucky. It is now almost Feburary and I still do not have my phone. My sales guy said he would call me back after a conference call on Tuesday and it is now Friday and I havent heard again from him yet. Do not waste...
