Cane is not in a prime location as there's a drive-through right in front of it so visibility could be blocked if there was a car line. I went within an hour of opening on a Friday morning so it was empty and I was able to snatch a parking spot in front.
Their drink menu brings me back to Orange County. Ever since I moved from LA to Vegas, I've been on a hunt for a good coffee spot. I tried many of the popular ones but I thought the coffee tasted different and not as good as California. I am so grateful that I got into this Yelp event because Cane is the one! I got to talk to the owners who are a couple. You know how you get super excited when you find people with the same taste as you? Yeah, that's how I felt talking to them. They referenced all my favorite OC sugarcane and coffee shops when telling me their origin story. They also own a Lego store so you'll find Lego figures all around the store.
Okay now for the drinks themselves. Love how diverse their menu is. You have the staples then the seasonal drinks that the staff creates.
Wellness Cane ($6.75/24 oz): This is made of sugarcane, celery, cucumber, and ginger. I saw him press the sugarcane with the machine and assemble the drink. It was very refreshing and sweet. It wasn't grainy either. I loved it!
Ube Coffee With 75% Sweetness ($6): They make Vietnamese coffee using a giant Phin in the back. He was telling me how they tested different brewing methods and I think they came up with a ratio that was well-balanced. You can taste the coffee and know it was strong without the super bold taste or physical jolt you get when you drink strong Vietnamese coffee. The ube foam was also really good! It has more than the typical subtle flavor and it maintains its form for the whole day. I didn't even have to mix the 2 layers so by the time I finished my coffee, I brewed another cup and added it to use with the rest of my ube foam.
I'm obsessed and couldn't be happier with either drinks! I'm definitely coming back and recommending Cane to...
Read moreWow , so delicious 😋 🤩!!! It was our first time here and first time even trying sugarcane drinks. This spot is hands down the best spot for some refreshing drinks in Las Vegas area.
The inside of the shop is very cute and modern setup with about 5-6 tables for seating . They also have some board games ,if you're looking for a place to hang out. I wish they have a drive-thru, but they don’t. It would be so nice and convenient.
The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable about the menu. It was definitely a great welcoming vibe from the staff.
For their menu, they have a wide range of different sugarcane drinks, coffee, smoothie, and tea drinks to choose from. After trying a sugarcane drink , our first thoughts were: “ Raw sugarcane juice is super delicious. Yummy “😋 I really can't compare it to anything else ,but I very much enjoy its sweetness. The drinks were great. Not too sweet at all, perfectly balanced. The flavor didn't take away from the cane sugar. It compliments so well. Their cocopine cane is 100% refreshing and it includes thick coconut slices, seriously so addicting. We have also tried for the first time ,their Vietnamese coffee and it was also amazing. The foam was thick, but very airy at the same time, adding a creamy texture to the iced coffee. We have loved it!!! It’s a MUST TRY! You really cannot go wrong with any sugarcane drink that you order from the menu. We have enjoyed every drink that we have tried!!!
Also, here you can watch the juice being extracted from the sugar cane, which is very cool!
Overall: this is definitely the spot to come to escape that Las Vegas heat! If this spot isn't on your list, it should definitely be!!! We highly...
Read moreI finally went to the place that people seemed to be raving about.
So i saved it for a good day. After a long hike mid day in the city. Very tired, hot, exhausted.
The atmosphere is great ! The cashier was nice. I ordered the Kiwi strawberry drink. And for some reason, my drink was not sweet. I felt like i was tasting lite sugar water with fruit on top. The kiwis and strawberries were just floating. That's where some of the flavor was.. maybe i am just not used to drinking cane juice, but it really was not sweet enough. (Now i know everyone has a different level of sweet taste buds), but i feel like they were holding out on the cane sugar.
I was polite ordering, and i didn't want to go back after taking a few sips to ask for it to be more sweet. Besides, i was exhausted and ready to drink ANYTHING COLD with 100-degree weather.
It really tastes like i was drinking something watered-down. I am not the type to leave these reviews, and i might change my review or totally take it down if my second experience is better.
I saw videos of the cane going in the machine, and i expected it to be sweet.
Drink looked fantasy.
I came around 2 or maybe 3 pm yesterday
If its not sweet to the point where i feel like this, maybe they just forgot the sugar or went to light by mistake. Regardless, i was like, i could've gone across the street nd got something. It is worth the experience, just lacking taste. Maybe they could do a curious scale like, instead of hot, very hot, extra hot, they could do little sugar 2x sugar or extra sweet. I just wanted it to be sweet, so it was enjoyable. Place is not bad, Maybe it was...
