I am not one to give negative reviews, but after tonight's experience it was necessary. My gf and I arrived here at 6:00pm on a Monday, and the place was empty. We were second in line to order and while waiting we were watching the staff make our sandwiches, because who else is not intrigued by the process? I was watching the young dude handling the griddle for my chicken cheesesteak sandwich, and thats were the trouble starts. I ordered a regular size and watched this kid throw on some tiny sandwiches on there. While that was cookin, another patron came in and ordered a cheesesteak. So, as our sandwiches were going down the line, my gf had hers all done up before mine because my sandwich took a little while to cook, so her sandwhich was sidelined. As soon as the dude was done with the sandwiches on the grill, I saw the crew throw in one of the tiny chickensteaks for the dude behind me, mind you he ordered a cheesesteak. As they were about to throw one in my bag noticed, they noticed that my order was a regular and griddle kid had to re-do my sandwhich. The staff looked at us without any apologies or any acknowledgement about it and they all looked distraught. So the griddle kid quickly whipped up my sandwhich, wrapped it up, and dared to hand it to me with an attitude. He's lucky I didn't say anything because I'm from Jersey! You perform like that at a Jersey Mike's at our home turf you'll get your head ripped off! The lack of communication and disorganization by the staff is horrific! We were out of there by 6:30pm and there were only 3 orders to handle. If this were in Jersey, you'd be in and out of there in 7 minutes tops, even with a line out the door! How can you screw up so bad when there are only 3 orders you had to handle?? The griddle kid doesn't even look like he wants to work and is just there for a paycheck. During unprecedented times like this, where people are losing their jobs, you better be grateful to even have a job! Griddle kid... if you don't want to do any work then quit your job, so that someone who really wants to work can have yours. Management really needs to step up their game and do a better job in training their staff. This is all a reflection of poor leadership. This is really poor customer service! This is disrespectful to the Jersey community, where Jersey Mike's is a staple in! A simple sorry or an acknowledgement would have done just fine, but the staff let their egos get in the way and 3 customers were affected by it. Fix your organization and fix the attitude. It's not bringing any value to your customers or your franchise! If not, give up the Jersey Mike's name! You don't...
Read moreI've regularly eaten at different Jersey Mike's locations back in California and here in Nevada. This location has the most incompetent and slowest staff I have ever experienced at any other location.
I placed my order right around 12PM and my estimated pick up time was 12:15PM. I arrived a bit early and there was another man there waiting for his order, we waited together for about 10 minutes before he got his order. Two women came in for pick-up orders a few minutes later, and the male employee immediately asked them for their names and started working on their sandwiches. I talked to the cashier and told her that I've been waiting and my sandwich should have been done 10 minutes ago. She finds my receipt and spoke with the male employee and he said, "There's other people ahead of him." even though he was helping customers who came after me. I glanced at their pick-up times when they got their meals, and it was after mine, so I'm not sure how they decide whose sandwiches are made first.
I want to mention that I always order a cold sandwich that involves no heating/cooking so it will be quicker, so I'm not sure how it took half an hour to assemble a single sandwich. The sandwich also tasted a bit "off." I usually get the same thing each time so I can tell when it's different. I would recommend waiting a few months before visiting this location, hopefully there will be new staff cycled in at that point to replace that current team. Dan Allard's review from a few months ago sounds like my experience, so maybe waiting a few months might not be long enough. If it's not too far away, I would recommend going to the location on Eastern instead, I've had better experiences there and will likely go there...
Read moreUPDATE Got my refund. Bad Customer Service This is the second time I have had a problem with take out. About 3 months ago, the first was order was not ready when I arrived and was told I will be next. A minute later order was ready. OK when I get back to work the order is not what was ordered and both sandwiches were covered in mustard. We stop going for a while so they can shuffle though the employees. The last 2 orders have been great until today. When I arrive(the time I was told to be there) I tell them my name and wait. 10 minutes pass and the same guy ask who im picking up for and I say my name again...they all look at each other...don't say anything to me...now they begin to build the sandwich...too late I need to leave now... so I tell them i'll get a refund from the app... I had to call the store 5 times for someone to pick up.... so sad another place that I have to cross...
