The authenticity of this eatery is highlighted by traditional touches such as the complimentary Barley tea, a call button for immediate service, and an assortment of banchan that delights the palate. Their kimchi, a perfect blend of sweet, savory, spicy, and peppery flavors, is an absolute must-try. It's so good that you'll find yourself asking for refills. The other banchan offerings, including japchae and kimchi radish, are equally delectable and provide a well-rounded introduction to Korean flavors.
A standout dish is the corn cheese, which redefines the concept with its creamy white cheese sauce topped with a bruleed finish. The corn underneath sizzles to perfection, with crispy brown bits adding texture and depth to each bite. The steamed egg is another highlight, packing a punch of flavor that is both comforting and delicious.
The bulgogi at Made in Korea is a revelation for those accustomed to overly sweet renditions of the dish. Here, it strikes a perfect balance of flavors, served on a sizzling plate with a generous helping of vegetables. The Korean Fried Chicken (KFC) plate, with its crispy exterior and sweet soy coating, is an indulgent treat that should not be missed.
The soups, including the brisket soup and beef bone soup, offer contrasting broth experiences that are both rich in umami and satisfying to the last spoonful. Whether you're slurping up glass noodles, radish, or tender meat, each element contributes to the overall excellence of the dishes.

Read moreWe came around 3 PM so it was pretty empty. We asked to sit at the back of the restaurant where they have 2 tables kinda sectioned off for a party of 8. We were a party of 4 and would only use one table on one side but the lady was very hesitant to give us that table, telling us that it was reserved for bigger parties. If it was 5/6 PM, I would understand but the restaurant was literally empty and it's not like a hole in the wall. Besides that, the service was fine.
Banchans: Their banchans (salad, fish cakes, kimchi, japchae, and spicy radish) were really good that I wanted more. It paired well with the meats that we ordered.
Boiled Pork Belly ($12): This was really good and the best thing we ate here.
Spicy Pork ($6): I haven't seen any other Korean restaurants offer side dish meats for this price and they gave a pretty decent amount. The spicy pork was good but paled in comparison the to boiled pork belly.
Mixed Ox Bone Soup ($22): They gave a lot of meat but the soup was bland so I like adding kimchi in it to give it more flavor. That's not to say it isn't good. My husband and I are used to eating umami food so that's probably why the taste is band to us. I tried this soup many times for the health benefits but my taste buds just can't get...
Read moreI recently dined at made in Korea eatery, a charming Korean restaurant that left a lasting impression with its authentic and delicious offerings. We started with the bossam, which was simply exceptional. The pork was tender and juicy, perfectly paired with the fresh, crisp vegetables and the tangy dipping sauces. It was a delightful balance of flavors and textures.
Next, we tried the kimchi pancake, and it was a revelation. The pancake was crispy on the outside, yet soft and flavorful on the inside, with the perfect amount of kimchi spice. It was so good that we couldn’t stop at just one serving!
The highlight of the meal was the spicy seafood hotpot. It arrived at the table bubbling and fragrant, filled with an abundance of fresh seafood, including squid, mussels, and crab. The broth was rich and spicy, with just the right amount of heat to warm the soul. Each spoonful was a burst of flavors, making it a perfect dish for sharing and savoring.
The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, with attentive and friendly staff who made the dining experience even more enjoyable. This place truly delivered an unforgettable Korean dining experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy authentic...
