Stopped in after a trip to see Mt Rainier and we were disappointed that the bathroom is blocked by takeout trays and there is still no seating. Just not super convenient for those that aren’t from Enumclaw.
Prices were OK. Staff is pretty clueless, I had just paid for $45 in food and they want me to breakout the card again to add some hot sauce for $1 per small container. If they had added it on the initial transaction much better experience. Or charge me $1 more per meal and give me the sauce.
Food Quality: Tenderness and doneness of the Teryaki was good. Flavor was off, it tasted like the grill was dirty and too hot initially and gave it a gross burned flavor. (like a branding iron was used to seer the chicken) Meat didn't seem marinated very long and was lacking flavor.
We also got some Mongolian beef that tasted like it was cooked in the same old oil in the deep fryer as seafood (this one ended up in the garbage). Didn't resemble picture at all, dry crispy nastiness.
No forks or napkins provided, didn't ask for these (assumed it would be provided), maybe it's an extra $1 if you want these too...
At first I thought I found a gem in Enumclaw I would stop at each time I passed through. Needless to say I won't be going back, and wouldn't recommend it. Only reason it's getting one star is I can't give it zero. I'll be surprised if this place is...
Read moreMy husband went to kings teriaki for the first time and he asked for fried rice to go in separate container and instead of her being polite and saying sorry we can't do that, she just said no. My husband felt like he was treated this way because of the color of his skin. He felt very much offended. He went back in and asked for his money back because he didn't want to give to a company that treats their customers poorly. I was on phone with him and heard how she was talking to him. So I called and asked for manager and it was a guy this time defending the lady who was in the wrong and told me if I wanted to talk more to come in because he's too busy next thing I hear is click as he hung up on me. I will stick to my favororite place oshio. I have never had...
Read moreWe've been going here for years and have always had good food.... I would always get nervous though with call in orders because they'd say "OK" then hang up, never asking for a name.
Today we were given the wrong take out order...took it home and made the discovery. I took it back, she gave no apologies, and I even had to pay the difference for the correction. And it turns out the person who ordered the food that we got, the lady told them there's no order for them; she denied she never took one over the phone (because she gave it to us). Lesson learned: always check your take out food...
