My parents used to love this place before I moved them out of the 'Claw. We were out there for a concert the other day and the usual places we eat weren't open because it was the weekend. We wanted something we could take to a park and eat as a picnic. I ordered the largest combo that included three items. Frankly, none of them were particularly good and the portions were pathetic. I get more food in the non-combo options from my favorite places near where I live. This was a little tiny bit of three things. The beef had a lot of gristle in it but the chicken did taste all right. There just wasn't enough of it. The gyoza weren't terrible but there was about 3mm of dipping sauce in the tiny cup they gave me with it which means that it was 80% empty. The rice was just gross. My kid got some Pho but she said it was very watered down and lacked flavor. My kid is the biggest pho enthusiast in America and will order that over pretty much anything else. If she doesn't like it then it must be pretty bad. My other kid got some spring rolls which actually were pretty good sized but a little too heavy on the sprouts. As for the price, my big combo was the most expensive at about $14. The rest was higher than average but not ridiculous. The service was friendly and the restaurant was clean but again, we won't be back. If you sell something that is touted as being very large and the people who bye it are wildly disappointed when they see their portions, you're going to get bad...
Read moreMake sure you inspect your meals before eating from OSHIO Enumclaw. Our katsu and rice came with fine metal shavings on the rice. I walked it back inside and they were kind to remake the order I didn't cause a fuss but they came right back out with the replacement and the chicken was cold. I walked it back inside and asked for a refund and the owner said she doesn't know how to void?! So I've been at this awaiting on food since 145pm and still no lunch no refund. Its now 315pm Not giving this place another chance (this was our final attempt after formerly recieving dried out rock hard katsu meals. )What a joke. $20 for lunch and they tell me katsu always come cold. ... wtf no it does not. Chicken?! Chicken has a hot holding temperature and its not meant to be room temp/cold! They also used teriyaki sauce instead of katsu sauce?! The owner was back peddling and trying to deny the circumstances. On the positive the server was very nice but that doesn't make up for inedible food with METAL SHAVINGS ! We used to be weekly regulars always order the same and usually get hot good katsu minus the last 2 visits. Never trying this place again! Update it took the owner calling her credit card service (20min wait) to get the transaction canceled and we have to wait 2 days for it to return to the card. They could have done so much better! I am Sadly disappointed. Katsubis absolutely not served...
Read moreFirst thing you need to know (that we didn't realize until after our meal) is that there are two entrances to this restaurant, two side-by-side restaurants. We thought we were going to a teriyaki place and found ourselves in a sushi place with teriyaki bento boxes. That was confusing. When I asked for the bathroom I was directed through the teriyaki part next door. I had the chicken teriyaki bento and it was "fine" - the California roll was fresh enough, gyoza edible, the teriyaki sauce was okay (not great) and the vegetables were odd tasting but I ate them in the end. It was a huge box and I took home half. The waitress was nice but when my boyfriend suddenly had a headache as we sat at the table but after eating (he doesn't get many headaches) we asked if there was MSG in our meal. She didn't know, I asked her if she could find out. She agreed but we realized after we left that she never came back with an answer. Then my boyfriend had a little stomach ache and my bowels turned to liquid in the fifteen minutes following the visit, so I called her back and asked. She sounded unsure, saying, "no, there wasn't any in anything," but I wasn't convinced. I'm not sure if she didn't really know or if she was...
