Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Escondido

This is my second time around here and I've got to admit that I just can't get enough of it! This establishment has friendly service and is relatively kept clean, regardless of the traffic. I first thought that I'd get bored enjoying dessert here. Afterall, icecream only has but so many flavors. But they keep enough flavors in inventory for a creative mind, like myself, to concoct new varieties of scrumptious delights. Learn to experiment with your flavors; not only with the toppings, but the cones and the icecream combos itself. Mixing up different variety of flavors, helps to diversify the tastes and will keep you on your toes. I think the only downside to this shop is that because of it's compact size, when there's a large crowd incoming, waiting in line can get cramped-up. No bueno! Oh well, small price to pay for being one of the better dessert...

Basically, we will not be going back here ever again.

I don’t typically leave negative reviews, but dang. This place is not to be recommended. Took our family and expected NORMAL and CLEAN service, nope. The ice cream was fine, VERY melted though and the lady there was leaning all up into the freezers full of ice cream. Like, elbows in and everything. On top of that, the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting too, I just wanted to wash my toddlers hands but I genuinely gagged upon going in. Apparently there were 2 people working there and they both hid in the back until we left. It was weird.

This place needs a deep cleaning and some new employees or some training. It was unbelievable, no thank you. Please listen to the other reviews too! Clearly I wasn’t the only one with a negative experience, something...

If I had a choice I wouldn't even give it a star. Took my kids to have ice cream. I asked for a kid size ice cream for myself. She gave me a disgusting looking ice cream trying to milk it out of the bottom of the container that was almost empty. Don't even had hot fudge. Putting a very small amount of cold fudge, that you could barely see on it. Charging me $4.00 just for that unappetizing, disgusting looking ice cream. The mixture even didn't taste good. If it wasn't for the kids I would have said something to them....
