This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in a long, long time. I just started a new job in Eufaula this week. On my 3rd day of work I had a double shift with a 2 hr break in between. I left home at 8 am CT & ended up working until 10:25 pm CT that night. After clocking out at work, I drive the 5 minutes to McDonald's for what I thought would be a quick drive-thru visit before my hr drive back home. I couldn't have been more wrong. When I got to McDonald's at 10:30 pm, there were 3 cars in front of me in the drive-thru. I made a phone call while I waited in line. By 10:41 pm, the car in front finally made their order & I pulled up to the speaker. I waited for 5 minutes & nobody ever acknowledged me sitting there. At 10:46 pm, I drove around the building to park & go inside. As I passed the window where you usually pay, I saw a girl just propped on the counter on her phone. The car in front of me had already gotten their food & driven away. I walked inside to see the manager talking on her phone through one of those headset pieces that look like earphones & speaker that dangles by your mouth that most people quit using over a decade ago. She walked over to take my order. After taking my order, I asked if there was a problem with the drive-thru & let her know I had waited for in line already. The cars behind me in line had all driven directly to the window you pick up your food at to place their orders & they were complaining about waiting with no acknowledgement too. The manager paused her phone conversation long enough to ask who was working drive-thru & why they weren't taking orders. She got a response that the girl wasn't wearing her headset to take the orders. The manager asked why she wasn't wearing it. The girl said because she was on the phone. The manager didn't chastise the girl or anything. She just went right back to her own conversation like she didn't have a care in the world. At 10:58 pm, I was finally getting back in my vehicle with my order. What should have taken at the very most 10 minutes, and that's being generous, took nearly 30 minutes. I will NEVER go back to this McDonald's ever again. The employees don't care. What's worse is the fact that the management doesn't care either. Stay away from...

Read moreMcDonaldâs in Eufaula, youâve outdone yourself. I stopped by craving a McRib, and what I got was a culinary experience so magical it deserves its own documentary.
First, letâs talk about the McRib. That saucy masterpiece arrived like a barbecue symphony in sandwich form. The smoky flavor hit my taste buds like a Fourth of July firework show, and the bun was so soft it could double as a memory foam pillow. Truly, the McRib was everything I dreamed it would be and more.
But the real MVP of my visit? The lady at the counter who went above and beyond with the extra pickles. When I asked for a few more, she didnât just add picklesâshe blessed my McRib with enough pickles to start a cucumber farm. She looked me in the eye, nodded, and said, âI got you.â And she did. She understood the unspoken truth that a McRib without enough pickles is just a rib.
The service was fast, the dining room was clean, and the sweet tea flowed like liquid gold. I even spotted a group of kids in the corner happily munching on Happy Meals, proving that this McDonaldâs truly caters to all ages.
So if youâre in Eufaula and the McRib is in season, runâdonât walkâto this McDonaldâs. And if you see the pickle fairy behind the counter, tell her sheâs a national treasure.
10/10 would McRib with extra...
