Was so excited to try this place, with one of the highest varieties of vegan options locally. We came in for my birthday. Service was good, friendly. No complaints there. My husband and kids enjoyed their food although there were a couple minor mistakes on their orders. Mine however, was pretty significant. I ordered the artichoke salad, vegan. It came out covered in dairy parmesan. I asked the server and she insisted it was "vegan mozzarella." I tasted a piece, and had everyone else in my family smell/taste it. Was without a doubt dairy parm. When the server returned, I informed her and she took it back. Brought me a new salad, but this time is was covered in bleu cheese. I don't eat Bleu cheese (vegan or dairy) so couldn't discern whether it was vegan or not, but I didn't have the heart to send it back a second time so I picked as much off as I could. My main concern with this is for people with allergies (myself included). While I avoid dairy by choice, I am highly allergic to other foods. Having staff insist your food is vegan, dairy free, etc when it's not is extremely dangerous and makes me hesitate to come back. Bummed as I was really looking forward to trying more things.
