Love their cheesy garlic bread (Eugene), their marionberry oatmeal muffins, their chocolate pumpkin loaves, their 3-cheese garlic bread (Salem), the fact you can jig for a cookie on St. Patty's Day (Salem), the fact they still allow for butter on their complimentary bread slices (Eugene, but not Salem), & their salted caramel, chocolate chip walnut cookies , their 2 cookie ice cream sandwich bars. Also, their gluten-free bread is far more enjoyable than anthing you would ever find in a grocery store (organic or not) & their flour is always ground fresh so it is not oxidized like prepackaged flour in a grocery store &... the fact you can get rewards after a certain point both with their bread (& their sweet stuff). Lastly, their overall service is exceptional & personable.

Aww, Great Harvest! Doesn't disappoint! I love the new location and appreciate all the new seating. The sandwiches are back and totally delish! I had their new chimichurri sandwich on sourdough the other day and man!! Super YUM! My 2year old daughter is a super fan of their delicious grilled cheesers. Two toddler thumbs up! I've experienced great, warm and friendly customer service every time I've gone. If you're looking for a deliciously fresh loaf of bread, this is your place! Being a transplant to Eugene, one of the best recommendations my hiring manager told me about was Great Harvest.... never gone back to any other bread! Thanks U of O for including that in your new employee training. :D Enjoy!!!

Handmade bread at Great Harvest Bread Co. is the very best. I love the Honey Whole Wheat and the Chocolate Chip is my favorite. The Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread is delicious and makes excellent French Toast. The Chocolate Brownie is yummy. Save yourself some time at Thanksgiving and order the incredible Dinner Rolls. Great spot to get a sandwich for lunch.

The new store is so very disappointing. Who knew the parking could actually be worse than across the street? Sure, we're no longer competing with 50 other people for a parking spot now, but the new spots are very tight to the fence line and my very normal car drags on the giant hump running down the center of the spaces.

I was a regular at the old location. I've visited the new location 4 times now, and each time has required considerable effort to gain the attention of staff standing in groups chit-chatting (maybe you have lots of impromptu stand-up team meetings, who knows? It's just weird having to flag down someone in the back so I can buy something at the counter.).

Yesterday, I tried you again. It was early afternoon, and I realize you're winding down for the weekend at that time. I saw only raisin nut cinnamon rolls, so I asked if there were any regular ones left. I got the most put-out 'no' response, like I had just asked for a kidney or something. I then asked if they were half priced yet (because that might be enough to entice me to buy a box of the variety I wouldn't ordinarily get... and just pick the raisins and nuts off). I got another overly annoyed 'no' from your staff, like I had just asked for her other kidney. I suppose she was still put out from being called away from her all-important employee gaggle a few minutes earlier.

I get it. New location growing pains. Maybe new staff training as well. But I'm going to let you sort all that out before I consider returning. Buying baked goods shouldn't be a painful experience. Best of luck in your...

My wife & I went here for a quick bite. We ordered a couple of sandwiches and coffees. We waited a while and a couple waiting who came after us got their order first. They left and were out the door about a minute before the lady who took our order asked if there was something we were waiting for. My wife replied, “yes our sandwiches…”. Her eyes lit up in surprise and said, “she gave them to the wrong couple.” Ok no big deal, right? Well, the other lady ran out of the store to GET THE FOOD BACK. The other people are in their car, bag in lap, having gone through the bag already as they had had the food for at least 2-4 min at this point SHE BRINGS IT BACK AND HANDS IT TO MY WIFE! Like, how does one running a good service business expecting me to take this food that’s been in someone else’s possession and ingest it? Then my wife told her we didn’t want it now and just asked for a refund. The owner (I presume because he’s told 3 people separately he was the owner in the time we waited there) cheerfully offered to get us refunded. You’d think they’d just refund the full amount but, nah. He still charged us for the coffee, which the order was incorrect also and we didn’t mention. Why would someone, especially a barista, assume that we wanted iced americano when we just ordered americanos is beyond me. Good job at making simple errors which undermine the confidence in your prep, handling and knowledge about food service and sanitation. I will not...
