El Super will always hold a piece of my heart. This place kept me alive for a year. It’s not the most spectacular burrito joint, but El Super is a brick house in the midst of a fire. Rock Solid, baby. Consistent, Cheap, Fat, and delicious. You have a craving that you know will be satisfied by El Super. If you opt for the Oregon burrito, I recommend curly fries. My favorite is the mixed burrito with extra guac. Pro tip #1 is to up charge a couple bucks and get your favorite burrito in a plate- rice and beans with some garnish. Most Excellent. Pro tip #2 is to call in 5-10 minutes before picking up. Make those chumps waiting for their food question their life choices and walk out swiftly and proud with your brick sized burrito in hand. I have probably had 300 burritos from this place in the 5 years I lived in Eugene, so I have a decent sample size. Fair price for very fair portions. Have yet to find a place as value dense and delicious...
Read moreFood is good, but the issue I have is I always order on my lunch break which as we all know is never long enough. I order in advance arrive and then get to wait in the inevitable long line to pay for my food which is sitting ready on the counter and going cold. My issue is that they offer call ahead carry out, yet have not implemented any system to allow those who ordered in advance to skip the line. I have waited almost 25 minutes in a line full of indecisive people just to pay for my food which blows and is then Luke warm if I am lucky.
If you take anything from this EL Super its that you really need to have some sort of system for those of us trying to get in and out who already ordered and just need to pay you. No one likes to order take out only to wait in the line and get Luke warm/cold food.
Please help those of us with terribly short...
Read moreLittle hole in the wall taco spot on a outdoor strip of businesses. Comforting and happy vibe, lots of to-go's visiting in and out. Our waitress/cashier was clear and vocal, super friendly and thoughtful. Our cook did a fantastic job on the whole breakfast taco date me and my sister had. I will definitely recommend to others this place. Under $40 for a super nacho app. a nice Corona that paired perfectly with the triple taco dish that we both got, she got the ground beef, while I requested steak.
Enjoyed every bit of it and honestly was mad I couldn't continue tasting the flavors because I was so full 😡
Absolutely worth the price, give it a try if you want a little hide away spot for a quick weekday breakfast/lunch, the foods not cold and not too hot, they're attentive and aware and on top of their stuff both...
