Subo Sushi Burritos — Restaurant in Eugene

I usually really love this place. I've been coming here regularly for two years now. The food is fantastic and the way you're able to customize everything is great. What I don't love is the fact that they aren't always open during their posted hours and that they'll accept online orders regardless.

I placed an order online on Sept. 9th at 7 PM, an hour before closing. I arrived at 7:20 to pick it up, and the location was closed. I was bummed but I figured I'd just call the next day and ask for a refund. They didn't pick up. I called periodically during their posted hours the next day and never got an answer. I then showed up the day after and they were closed. They were closed the next day too, even though their posted hours stated they were open.

I am now going through my credit card company to try to get a refund since I've been unable to contact Subo. I'm very disappointed with this company. I really love the food but I doubt I'll come back because I can no longer trust them with...

Have been going to Subos since 2016. Food is always good. Originally, I went to Springfield, but they closed down a year ago, so I have been going to Willamette. Great customer service, ingredients always fresh. It's a bit pricey, which could have to do with the amount of ingredients they use. I am really bummed they stopped incorporating seaweed salad in their burittos and took it away as an option. The "field greens" detract from the sushi feel for me. I know not everyone liked the seaweed salad, but for me, it was a letdown, plus they kept prices the same despite ingredient changes. I had planned for a nice outing with my girlfriend and to buy some yummy food. However this was not the expirience I had AT ALL. This was a go to spot of ours until the tragic events that happened today. When we arrived we saw the ugly Casper looking balding on the head guy who works everytime we go in. The ordering went like normal until it came to the sauce. We wanted some sauce to go with our 35 dollar food but we’re taken aback when he claimed we were asking for “too much sauce for a normal sized person” he then charged us 7 dollars for one sauce cup then physically removed us from the store.
