Quick Fix Coffee Co. — Restaurant in Eugene

Listen, I love to support local businesses, especially coffee spots, which I why I've become a consistent regular here over the past year. However, I just experienced the worst service I've ever received. For context, I have been a barista at a drive through coffee chain for about 2 years now and I can't tell you the number of times I've had to remake a drink (even if it's what was ordered). That was not the case today since I am confident in always asking for alternative milk, as I am severely allergic to dairy. So when my friend and I went back to ask for remakes, we were met with hostility and confrontational behavior. It was actually shocking.

My friend got water and milk instead of an iced coffee with cream and I got a regular dairy latte instead of an oat milk vanilla latte. Our orders were never repeated back to us, and nothing was written on our drinks indicating the correct order. I completely understand the difficulties of customer service, but to be told I would have to pay for a drink that was made incorrectly in an accusatory manner, I was genuinely shocked. I know how to navigate a remake from the other side, as I am sure to be gentle and non-confrontational, but the response was appalling.

There have been numerous times my drink was off, but I never go back due to time and pure anxiety. To think of it, I've never been asked my name and rarely asked about my day, even though I have been going to this shop once or twice a week for over a year now. UPDATE (12/12/2022): The employees are still wonderful but I wonder if the owner wants to fail. Closing at 4, right before one of their busiest hours. On multiple occasions I have attempted to purchase coffee only to be reminded of this stupid decision. One of the cornerstones of business is to provide a consistent and reliable product, in this you are failing by monkeying around with your hours.

We had been driving all morning and arrived with only a single car in front with 2 people in car. Although 2nd in line, we waited 20+ minutes in line before leaving. Person working inside continued to prepare drinks to several kids on bikes, arriving 15 minutes after us on the opposite side, even though drive thru window was closed as we tried there too. After seeing car in front of us taking 20 minutes, we ended up going to the drive through in Dexter and they got us in and out in about 7 minutes and we're super friendly.And excellent coffee too.
