MANNNNNNNNNNNNNNN......This burger was amazing. Hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had. And I don't even really like pickles but the man makes his own pickles and they pair amazingly well with the burger. You can taste the love and care he puts into the food and super nice. I live wayyyyy out in the country and it's almost a 30 minute drive for me to get to his place and he was so thoughtful and mentioned that next time to let him know to hold off 20 minutes after I order so my food would be hot and fresh when I got there and that in itself would of been enough for me to return in the fact that he cared enough to want to make sure my food is fresh, which may I say is a rarity in customer service. If you haven't tried and all the other 100+ reviews weren't enough for you to want to give this man your business then let me add onto the list of people who highly recommend this place. It's so rare these days to find a place who actually gives a flip about what they're serving and he definitely most definitely does. I'll be making the hour round trip again in the near future just to get me a burger. PS.. you can taste the high quality of meat he uses, it's not a slop shop by any means and when I was picking up my food he was slicing potatoes for the fries and man again it's so worth it. Keep up the amazing work bro and you'll be top...

I live in the Bethel area and was just going to hop across the street to McDonald's, but I figured I'd go the extra mile and pay Zandos a visit because it's been a while.
McDonald's large fry is $4.50. Zandos fries are $5 for a very healthy portion of immaculate, perfectly crispy, perfectly salted, thick cut fries. These things stayed crisp as all hell and warm all the way til I got home. Haven't had the burger in a long time, but I can't wait to go back again to one of my favorite food spots in Lane County. Hard pressed to find a better burger spot. Thank you so much Zandos 💙
ORIGINAL REVIEW: This is one of my top 5 restaurants in town. Best burger I've ever had, as well as the best fried chicken sandwich I've ever had. The food is always so aesthetic and delicious, burgers are always cooked and seasoned to perfection. Sometimes I'll make the trip just for the fries, which are also always crispy, salty, and delicious. You really can't go wrong with any of the menu items here. The owner is always so friendly and his passion for food shows through the consistency and quality...
Read moreZando’s deserves a high rating for the quality of the meat and the food IS good. The execution is not quite 5 star to me because the patty is quite thick but doesn’t cover the smallish bun — the patty needs to be mashed flatter so that when it shrinks in cooking, it still goes to the edge of the bun instead of turning into a meatball. Who wants bun left over after the meat is gone? Personally I love a good sharp cheddar on my burger but there’s only low budget American and Muenster though I recognize that might be an intentional esthetic choice. Also, the cheapo brand of crappy ketchup packets for the beautiful thick-cut fries was a bit of a letdown. There are some really great brands of ketchup made right here in Oregon that would go great with those perfect potato slabs and I can’t do curry (the other dipping choice). As for the location, we love the Crowbar and the back patio was a wonderful spot for lunch on a lovely fall...
