El Buen Sabor in Eugene, OR is a hidden gem that is not to be missed. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with beautiful Mexican art lining the walls.
But let’s talk about the food – it was absolutely delicious! The menu had a great variety of traditional Mexican dishes but with a modern twist. The highlight for me was the Chicken Mole Enchiladas which was so flavorful and had just the right amount of spice.
The portions were generous, and the presentation was impressive. Every dish looked like a work of art on the plate, and it was evident that a lot of thought and care went into the preparation of each meal. The prices were reasonable, and the quality of food made it worth every penny.
El Buen Sabor also had a great selection of drinks, including authentic margaritas that were the perfect complement to the meal. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at El Buen Sabor and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Mexican cuisine with a contemporary twist. The food, atmosphere, and service were all outstanding, and I can't...
Read moreThis one was rough. My partner and I decided we wanted to try some Oaxacan food at a new cart that we've never been to. She gets back and immediately told me about the weird vibes with "a man wriggling on the ground with a women 10 feet away half dancing in a daze possibly related to the man right next to the cart". Wriggling aside.. I cannot stress how absolutely BLAND this food was. I'm attaching a photo because other than two bites this is literally how it looked when I opened the box. The flavors included.. corn and cabbage. The chicken was flavorless and not seasoned. We tried to save the day with some green sauce because you know.. sometimes you gotta. AND OMG the sauce was BLAND TOO it tasted like vinegar and cilantro alone. (We are not suffering from any diseases that make your taste weird either and I LOVE cilantro). I have no idea if we just got a bad batch or something but if this is the normal product please stay away. Literally make your own toasted corn tortilla with just refried beans and that would be...
Read moreIm not one to complain but wow was My family disappointed. Everything was super dry and flavorless. I ordered tacos plate and lengua tacos. First, who puts raw cabbage on a street taco? Then they only use one corn tortilla per taco so it falls apart right in your lap. (Kid was very upset). The adabado had hardly any flavor and was desert dry. Lengua was the same way. At $4.00 a taco, you would hope they had flavor. As I am giving my food to my crying child, my other child said “this is gross dad!” Mind you they love mexican food. So we took what we had and threw it away and went to mcdonalds instead. Im out $50 plus McDonalds just because it was so horrible. Do not recommend and if they were good at one point, they are not anymore. Expensive, flavorless and dry food is what you can expect now. Highly do not recommend. BTW, our dog didn’t even eat what hit the ground and she is...
