Vaqueros American & Mexican Food — Restaurant in Eureka

I went there to get a burrito and some tacos. They were out of pastor today, but the carnitas tacos i got instead were very good. I also got an asada taco and it was pretty good as well. I didn't try the carnitas burrito supreme because its for someone else, but i imagine it was also pretty tasty. However, it's the style of burrito where it's topped with sauce/lettuce/sour cream and I definitely prefer the burritos with everything inside, wrapped in foil, especially at taco trucks. The topped burritos are a little unweildy to eat in a car. I gave the atmosphere only 3 stars because it's a taco truck in a motel parking lot, the atmosphere can't be that great. We were just staying the night at the hotel and wanted to stop by for dinner. We got to Eureka pretty late and checked in. By the time we got to the truck, they started to close. Until the owner (I assume) saw us and opened up to make us food, seriously so nice!! We didn't expect that. The food was great, nothing to complain about. It was not crazy spicy. Went for lunch with my sister. I got chorizo fries without the guacamole and pico. My sis got birria fries. She says not enough of the broth so the meat was dry for her and fatty. She got extra onion and they piled it on for her. The chorizo fries were ok, the chorizo was not as flavorful as I am used to. Service was great, friendly and fast. I will give it another shot because I want to try...
