Merrick Park — Attraction in Evanston Township

Nice, peaceful little park with roses all around the sides & a moderately sized grassy space in the middle.

Beautiful old fountain on the Southern end of the park, although it could greatly benefit from another restoration (last time was decades ago, but you can still see its beauty).

Would be a great spot for a peaceful picnic.

Note: Dogs are not allowed in the park, although not everyone follows this rule - it seems that as long as the dogs are kept on a leash & are well-behaved, the authorities turn a bit of a blind eye.
