Taco Diablo has a very friendly, comfortable, upscale and trendy atmosphere. My wife and I decided to check it out based on a recommendation. We went on a Thursday evening around 6:00PM. The tables were all full which is a positive sign for a restaurant's reputation! While we were waiting for a table to open up, it gave us a chance to hang out at the bar and enjoy a couple of their signature Margaritas. Overall we really had a very positive experience and thought the entire staff was great! There are two reasons I am giving Taco Diablo 3 Stars instead of 5. The first reason is because the outside of the restaurant could use some name recognition help. We walked right past the restaurant twice before we realized where it was and out of frustration we almost went someplace else down the street. The Second:reason was the food itself. It wasn't that bad...but it wasn't that good: It tasted like microwaved - processed frozen food instead of fresh cooked-to order food which you would expect from an upscale - trendy type restaurant. But now that I know where Taco Diablo is.... I will probably go back for the Margaritas, atmosphere and friendly staff...but not...

Delicious food! Taco Diablo was a much better choice than the restaurant upstairs which was way too loud, crowded, and uncomfortable. Also, the flight of stairs to get to the top restaurant was dimly lit with no traction on the steps. Definitely not accessible to people with limited mobility. At Taco Diablo the atmosphere here was very relaxed and the servers were very respectful and professional- which was an upgrade from the place upstairs. Entrance is right off the street. Super inviting with lots of interesting lighting fixtures, unique decor, and artistic touches. Exposed high ceilings. Curved upholstered booths and large round tables can seat up to six guests maybe more. Regular tables are available too. The bar was interesting and had nice lighting too. Attentive service. Highly recommend the three taco dinners. Each one was delicious and bursting with unique flavors. The sides are apparently family style but surprisingly appeared to be more for a single person. My only suggestion would be to make the appropriate adjustments so that customers can have their own sides as opposed to having to share...

I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food is at Diablo Tacos! The flavors are rich, the ingredients are fresh, and everything is well-prepared. The homemade tortilla chips are a standout—crispy, fresh, and perfect for scooping up their unique red and green salsas, which taste nothing like the store-bought kind. Both salsas have a depth of flavor that really enhances the meal.

The tacos were delicious, packed with well-seasoned meats and fresh toppings, and the birria torta was a solid choice, especially when dipped in the consommé. The presentation and portion sizes are decent, though I’d say the prices are a bit on the higher side for what you get.

The ambiance is great—warm, rustic, and inviting, with a stylish bar and plenty of seating. Service was friendly and attentive, making for an overall enjoyable experience.

Would I come back? Yes, but be prepared for slightly premium pricing. If you’re looking for high-quality tacos and great flavors, it’s definitely...

Good tacos! Creative ingredients that run true to authentic Mexican flavors. I like the three-taco entree, which comes with Mexican rice and a choice of pinto or black beans. (I recommend the duck and pork chorizo, the chicken mole, and the smoked brisket.) Taco choices will please both carnivores and vegetarians. The rice and black beans are suitable for the latter. Most of the tacos and the pinto beans have a little kick to them. Vegetarians should note that the potato taco is particularly spicy. Try the desserts, too. The lemon curd is cool and refreshing and an excellent conclusion to the meal. I also like the whiskey bread pudding made with horchata and served warm with caramel sauce. Our waitress was efficient and attentive, and the kitchen staff brought our food out in good time. Plan to dine alone? The devil masks on the walls will give you plenty of infernal company.😳
