Industrious — Local services in Evanston Township

I've been a resident here for 2 months now and have only positive things to say about the space and the team that run it. I rent a permanent desk in one the "shared offices" and have found that the company of my office mates only makes the place better.

The fit and finish of the space is fantastic. The interior walls are all windows so there is always a flood of natural light no matter where you're stationed. The quality of furniture, decor, appliances - everything - is top notch. It is definitely a "professional" environment, it doesn't feel like a frat house, a club house, or an over-glorified coffee shop. This is a place to come and get work done.

The team spend considerable time and attention making sure everyone is comfortable, connected, and well-fed (the catered breakfasts make more of a difference then you might think). They also work hard to come up with events that we would find interesting or relevant to our work and personal lives - "Lunch and Learn" events, community talks, weekly happy hours, even family-friendly activities. The team that runs this space, make this space what it is.

We couldn’t be happier having our office here! We run a busy law firm, and Industrious has taken ALL of the stress of managing our space and office needs off of us — allowing us to just focus on our work. The community managers Katrina and Elisabeth are incredible - warm, detail-oriented, and organized. They run a tight ship in the best possible ways, ensuring that lots of people in lots of industries with lots of working styles work together in the same space in a thoroughly enjoyable way. From office socials and happy hours, to yoga and special events, it’s a great community. We have a private office but also use the conference rooms and shared spaces when appropriate. It’s made it so we love coming to work and being in our workspace. I couldn't be happier at Industrious Evanston! Every day, Donna is leading the charge for the community, with great energy and an encouraging smile. Not to mention...always putting out amazing food and drinks! Yesterday, a surprise seasonal "pumpkin-fest" of some kind, with punch, pumpkin pie, sandwich cookies, and all kinds of other goodies. Today, another surprise, a "welcome lunch" for a new addition to the Industrious team. The space is truly gorgeous, with tons of phone booths, private rooms, couches, all of it.
