We got there early and got seated. The menu had 5 very different main courses. The wine list was quite large and a good wine in my price range was recommended, which we ordered. I thought it was priced in the range i expected for the value. Our group of 5 ordered: 2 appetizers, 2 salads, 5 different main courses, 4 deserts, 3 cocktails, and a bottle of wine. I thought the charcuterie plate was way over priced, but the seafood hot dip was delicious even if it was a bit expensive. The regular $8 salad was good, but the $12 salad only consisted of 3 leaves of lettuce with very little else, not much of a salad for $12. Our orders of lamb, steaks, and seafood were all tasty. My granddaughter's drunken noodles were described as spicey, but in fact, were not edible. We all had a taste, and not one of us could handle the heat, even though I personally love hot spicey food. I would have sent it back, but she chose to take it home and add other ingredients to tame it down, but ended up tossing it. All our desserts were good, but I thought the cost for the size was a bit pricey. Our service was slow, but the resturant was almost empty. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about all our orders. We really should have asked more questions about the drunken noodles. I usually like a laid back meal, but after over two hours, it was tiring. I loved the way the older home had been renovated into a fine restaurant in a residential area. Unfortunately, for me, the experience didn't outweigh the over priced menu. I don't...
Read moreSo I came here for the first time for Valentines with my boyfriend (his first time too) and when I walked in I was so pleasantly surprised and LOVED the atmosphere the dining looked amazing the bar the kitchen! It looked so cohesive and aqesome! BUT when I told the host my reservation name they led us through the kitchen up stairs into a weird closed off dining room with kind of aged decorations kind of like an aunts living room, none of the silverware or glasses matched even at the same table, the chairs were that of a banquet hall. The music was played off of Bluetooth speaker in the corner, the menu looked great I saw a great champagne selection ranging up to $300 but then to discover that we were eating off flimsy FOLDING TABLES with a stained table cloth just really really irked me. I was wholly disappointed we didn't get to sit downstairs, upstairs seems like a completely different restaurant and totally disjointed from the downstairs in feel, decoration, theme, everything. I was really bothered to spend $200 on a special dinner to be put up in a stuffy, old fashioned, worn, food hall feeling room. The food was delicious but the atmosphere ruined the experience for us and im really sad about it next time I guess I'll just ask to be seated down stairs even though there were open tables downstairs that weren't reserved and I had made the reservation a month in advance. it was just rather disappointing for our first time there I really will give it another try and ask to sit downstairs for the...
Read moreI was at Madeleines Fusion Restaurant on Saturday May 25, 2024. To say we were very disappointed is an understatement. There were 2 of us. Our waiter was Charles. I ordered the Filet Mignon which was $54.00. That’s the steak only. It was absolutely the worst steak I have ever had. I ordered it medium well. It was not cooked to medium well. It was burnt, very tough meat. I couldn’t even chew it. We waited and waited for our waiter and he never came to check on us so I finally asked another employee to get him. He did get me another steak cooked but it wasn’t much better. It was cooked medium well. It was still tough and had no flavor. Charles (our waiter said the first steak was burnt because of the rub they use). I ordered asparagus as my side and it was a very small amount and was $12.00. Everything is A La Carte. Asparagus was tough also. Our food was just placed on a plate. Didn’t look anything like the photos they post on facebook. I am including pictures with my review of what a $54.00 steak and $12.00 asparagus looks like at Madeleines Fusion Restaurant. This is very unacceptable. We were running late for an event we were attending so I didn’t have the time to ask for a manager or owner. Our waiter Charles was very nice. He wasn’t very attentive to our table. I believe this was because he was also bartending. Madeleines YOU DEFINITELY DROPPED THE BALL ON PROVIDING THE FOOD AND SERVICE THAT WE RECEIVED ON FRIDAY...
