Let me preface by saying that I come here at least a couple of times per week for lunch, mostly because itâs fast and itâs cheap. In all the time Iâve been coming here, today was probably the worst experience Iâve had yet, and enough to make me probably not come back.
I ordered at the drive thru speaker using my app code, like I always do. The code was for a free any size fry with purchase of a soft drink. When I told the cashier the first two things I wanted, they mustâve assumed that was it while simultaneously saying âis that allâ because they rang it up for ONLY the first two items and then when I got to the window wanted to ring me up again for the drink, which was the last item I said on the order. I explained at the window that everything was messed up now because I was overcharged for the first order because the drink was not on that order, nullifying the fry discount. He said he needed to get with his manager. She comes to the window, would appear to ânot have timeâ for me, as she asked what I wanted and I tried explaining the situation to which she responded âso you just need a large drink, okay Iâll get it for you at the next windowâ and shuts the window. â No. That wasnât what I wanted. I was overcharged for the original order AND needed a large drink. Itâs not even about the money at this point for me, itâs about the fact that the cashier was in such a hurry to âcloseâ the order that they didnât even check to make sure that was all before ringing it out.
Then to top everything off, I get to the second window, they hand me the drink, then the guy goes âwas that all you hadâ? No. No it wasnât. I explained and they got the order, but the food was wrong. Just disappointed at this point I left. I donât have time to argue with people over this simple stuff.
At the end of the day it was an incredibly frustrating experience because nothing about my order today was difficult. This should be EASY work for just about anyone yet somehow was messed up at almost every...
Read moreCame through the drive-thru and placed my order for Chicken McNugget meal. It was a manager taking the order and she was polite but assertive. When I got up to the window and got my food I asked for a third sauce because we all know one sauce per five nuggets is just not enough. The girl at the window responded it was seemed like a well-rehearsed response that the store charges for additional sauces and she does not have a cash register at her window. So I said okay fine I'll pay the extra whatever it is and she told me I had to drive all the way around and go through the drive-thru again for a sauce. How ridiculous is that though we need to go all the way around the drive-thru to buy one sauce that they are skimping on anyways. Now I don't mean just this franchise, all of McDonald's are pretty much that way. I will say the employee at the window probably handled The Exchange well but I still think it's ridiculous on top of ridiculous to expect somebody to drive all the way around and go through drive-thru again for a...
Read moreI came in during the morning to get breakfast. The person waiting on cars was not waiting on the right lane. There was a car driving off. I went to the window and told them there was no response to people talking to the right lane. I then came inside and waited in line to order. When I got to the position to order the person looked at me as if I was not there and turned away without taking my order. They then started looking in bags and chatting with employees. I then asked if I could talk to a manager. The person who turned his back on me and did not take my order then said he was one. I told him that the right lane was not being waited on outside and I had come inside to be waited on. Instead of taking my order he and another "manager" began talking to the person in the back waiting on outside customers. I announced to all of them. "If ANYONE can take my order and wait on me that would be awesome!" They again dismissed me and did not...
