I recently visited A Pizza House and unfortunately, the experience fell well below expectations.
I ordered a pepperoni slice, pepperoni calzone, and chicken linguini. While the portion sizes were reasonable for the price, the overall quality of the food was disappointing.
The pepperoni slice lacked flavor and quality—it was comparable to something you might find at a convenience store, and even that might be generous. It was edible, but there was nothing about it that made it stand out in a positive way.
The chicken linguini was particularly off-putting. The texture was acceptable, but the sauce had an unusually pungent flavor that did not blend well with the dish. It tasted as if it had been sitting for a while, and the overall result was unappetizing.
The calzone was the most concerning part of the meal. It appeared undercooked, bland, the cheese wasn’t melted, and the pepperoni inside seemed raw. It didn’t resemble a proper calzone in preparation or presentation, and I couldn’t bring myself to finish it.
In terms of service, the interaction was minimal. When I asked the staff member for a recommendation, there was confusion and little engagement. While this may have been due to a language barrier, the overall service felt indifferent and uninviting.
The ambiance was equally uninspired. The atmosphere felt dry and somewhat uncomfortable, and the staff didn’t appear enthusiastic or welcoming. It lacked the warmth you’d typically expect from a neighborhood pizza spot.
Pricing falls between $10–$30, which would be reasonable if the quality matched the cost. Unfortunately, in this case, it did not.
Would I recommend this place? No. I believe there are other restaurants nearby where you can get better food, better service, and a better overall experience for the same price—if not less. Everyone has different tastes, but based on mine, I wouldn’t return.

Read moreExtremely disappointing experience.
I placed an order and was charged immediately. The restaurant was supposed to open at 12:00 PM. It showed as open on DoorDash, their official website, and Google Maps. I even received a confirmation text saying my order was accepted.
I drove to the location — only to find it completely closed. No staff, no sign, no explanation. I called about 10 times, and no one picked up.
There’s no clear way to request a refund, and I wasted both time and money. This kind of service is unacceptable.
Update: About an hour after the official opening time, someone finally showed up and mumbled something about being “stuck in traffic.” On a Sunday? The roads were completely clear.
No apology, no explanation — just “I was in traffic.” Still unacceptable.
Update 2:
They refunded my order as an apology, which I appreciate. Hopefully, the pizza will be worth it.
Adding a couple of stars for making things right.
Final update: By the way — the pizza was absolutely delicious. Truly one of the best I’ve had in the area. If it weren’t for the earlier experience, I’d gladly leave 5 stars.
I’ll definitely order here again, and if this kind of issue doesn’t happen again, I’ll happily update my review to 5 stars.

Read moreThe pizza here is pretty decent and so was my Caesar salad, but I wasn’t impressed by the pasta. It was very watery and lacked flavor, plus it was labeled on the menu as “linguine alfredo” but was actually just spaghetti noodles with milk on it and very little chicken (see photo). The salad was okay though, it came in a large portion and was fairly fresh. The pizza is really the best part of this place, they had lots of yummy options on the menu and I had a hard time choosing! I especially enjoyed the red sauce that they use, I ordered the 4-cheese pizza and added pepperoni. They used paneer cheese which I’ve never seen on pizza before, so that’s kind of unique. Paneer doesn’t have a lot of flavor by itself though, so it doesn’t add much to the pizza except for a tofu-like texture. I probably wouldn’t get it again, but I would come back for a quick pepperoni slice once in a while! They have affordable options and have a vibe kind of like little Caesar’s, but less corporate. They could definitely step it up on the pasta but otherwise this place isn’t so bad for a cheaper...
