My boyfriend and I have been to 16eleven twice now and have had 5 star experiences each visit. Booking a reservation online is simple and haven’t had an issue with finding our preferred date or time. The atmosphere gives me butterflies just thinking about it. It truly is such a wonderful place to walk into and to have it in Everett close to home is such a positive for us. We pretty much refuse going south further than Edmonds so having something close of this nature is refreshing and so exciting. Our first visit, I was 9 months pregnant and almost had to be wheeled out I was so full lol. We ordered the bread with three butters which was packed with flavor. The potstickers were delicious, they were a bit cold like they sat in the window too long but we did let the waitress know so it could be avoided next time, we still thoroughly enjoyed them and their dipping sauces. My boyfriend ordered the duck and gnocchi and we still talk about this dish 6 months later, definitely one of the best meals we’ve both tasted. I ordered the black garlic chicken fettuccini, it was rich and saucy, lovely to wipe up with the bread. We finished with the chocolate torte and the lemon tart and both were absolutely fantastic. I had ordered 2 mocktails that were tasty and fun. My boyfriend had a few beers that were cold and crisp. Service was great! We were there for about 2.5 hours and spent just over $200 before tip. We had a wonderful experience. Our second visit, There were some homeless people laying in the yard upon entry that was a definite turn off. We live in Everett so we are used to it, but i can see if someone from out of town comes here, that it would be a complete deterrent and possibly even scare people. I know it’s pretty much inevitable in this city, but if there is a way to constantly monitor that it may benefit customers. Once we walked in though, the ambiance excited me the same way. This time, I was able to enjoy a cocktail (Lady Dawson) and it was good! I do wish there were more vodka options, I heard another table say something similar too. My boyfriend ordered 2 beers and a green hornet which he enjoyed but the glasses are pretty small for the price of the drinks (which we understand is where restaurants can get some extra revenue). We ordered the pot stickers again because I was on a dairy free diet this time and they were nice and hot and just as delicious, we had to tell ourselves to slow down and savor them because we were inhaling them lol. He ordered the bread and the butters with his steak, he said all were phenomenal as they were last time. I had a few slices of the bread and my gosh it is so flavorful. I ordered the spare ribs with rice pilaf and veggies and everything about it was delicious. The rice was incredibly flavorful and the veggies were crisp, hot and juicy. The meat fell right off the bone and was very flavorful. All three together in one bite was a dance of flavors in my mouth and I caught myself saying “mmmm” until the last bite. My boyfriend ordered the wagyu with a side of mash potatoes instead of the pave, however they plated it with the pave, which he didn’t mind of course. The steak was cooked medium rare as requested and was seasoned well, he ate all his veggies which isn’t a typical occurrence, and of course the potato’s were a hit. We do recommend maybe providing steak knives with the steaks as it was a bit tough to cut in some parts with his butter knife. I ordered a cider after my drink was finished and it was great! Our waitress, Katie, kept up on refilling my water and answered any questions we had with grace. She was great! Due to my dairy allergy I had to forego any desserts with milk which was tough for me. We went with the trio of sorbets and they were not my favorite, but I can see how it would be a good choice for someone looking for a guilt or dairy free option. We left every plate and glass empty and can’t wait to come back next time! Special shout out to Bryson who is phenomenal in the kitchen! We love you!!

Just got back from having lunch there with my husband and friend. Very strange experience. The server said she was the Art Curator I believe. She was attentive but our interactions were rather uncomfortable. She asked us multiple times if we’d been there before, it was though she didn’t take the first “yes” we gave her seriously. When we received our buratta, it looked different than normal. No mint leaves and no crostini’s to eat it with. We asked for crostini’s and this seemed to not sit well with the server. She felt the need to tell us several times that the buratta NEVER came with crostinis. Checked with the kitchen and came back and told us again that they dont do it. Then at the end of the meal, she reiterated once more that bread doesn’t come with the appetizer and went as far as to ask us if they should change the menu and add crostini’s because she’s “always looking for feedback on the menu” The photo I included is exactly how I’ve received this dish every time I’ve ordered it. Beautifully plated and the crostinis on the side. Ya know… to eat the cheese and berries on. Anyway, we love this place but today didn’t feel welcomed, heard or valued by this server. Really strange behavior. Maybe skip lunch service and just do dinner! UPDATES/RESPONSE TO MANAGEMENT: That's great that she's popular, but my feedback is very much so accurately representing my experience. The interaction with the server was very uncomfortable. Every time I've ever ordered that dish, it came with crostinis. It's how I know you even serve them. And again, the misunderstanding would have been totally fine had the server not pressed us several times afterward about how it wasn't right. It was weird. Once would have been enough. Twice would've been strange but not enough to write a review about, but at a certain point, her persistence felt pointed. I'm not unreasonable and I really enjoy your restaurant. It's our date spot and I've recommended it to many of my friends. I shared this experience in hopes that maybe her approach could change. I didn't expect to be told to change my review and have you imply that it doesn't accurately represent the service I received... pretty confused about this

Update: Came here for our final dinner @ 16Eleven. Katie was our server. She was warm, friendly and helpful with menu items. What we ordered: 1.) Ahi Tacos $12.00 My hubby said the Poke was very fresh and melted in his mouth. 2.) Pork Potstickers $12.00 I am accustomed to Potstickers being first fried than steamed. They only steam theirs here. Still not bad tasting. 3.) Steak Tartare $15.00 this was delicious just the right amount of seasoning. 4.) Mixed Green Salad $12.00 (half portion) this is one of my favorite salads in WA. Just the right balance of Blue Cheese. Apple, walnuts and dressing. 5.) Bronzino Entree $44.00 The fish was prepared with a lightly crisp exterior and moist interior. The Broccolini was firm exterior and tender interior. Potatoes were tender. My only call out was there was a small pool of oil on the bottom of this dish which I was not fond of. They were out of two desserts and only had tarts so we skipped this portion. I will miss this spot! Finally an Upscale Elegant Restaurant located Not in Seattle, but instead Downtown Everett WA! Our wait person Chance did not rush us and continued to check in throughout our meal. Ok lets get to it: 1.) Salmon Pressed Sushi. Salmon was fresh just a bit too much rice for my liking. 2.) Steak Tartare Crostini. Nice balance of ingredients and flavor. 3.) Mixed Green Salad. Now this salad was not only well balanced but very flavorful…I would definitely suggest you try this. 4.) 16Eleven Fish and Chips. The fish was moist and savory. The outer batter was a bit thick and oily. The fries were not friend enough as they were soggy. 5.) Lemon Tart flavorful and not terribly heavy in texture. 6.) Ouz-ya Daddy. This was like a Manhattan done 16Eleven style. The decor is dark, cozy and romantic giving me a chilled vibe. The building this is located in an Historic Landmark Registered with the National Register. So glad to see Washington State values their historic heritage and buildings to not tear them down! Give this restaurant a go, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Experience at 16Eleven: Ambience Shines, Beverage Options Limited

Ambience: The atmosphere at 16Eleven is undoubtedly its highlight. With a charming ambiance that sets the stage for a delightful dining experience, the restaurant offers a pleasant environment for patrons to unwind and enjoy their meals.

Food Quality: Unfortunately, the food quality does not match up to the high standards set by the ambience. While the lemon tart receives praise for its taste, other dishes such as the duck breast and beef wellington leave much to be desired. The duck breast, albeit tasting alright, suffers from excessive saltiness, while the beef wellington disappoints with overdone meat and an imbalance of bread to filling ratio. Instead of a large tenderloin being used and serving the middle cuts, keeping the ends as chef scraps, guests are given a smaller but whole tenderloin which results in a lot of the ends and bread, instead of wonderful medium rare goodness. The dish was also complimented by a tasty red wine demi but there was barely any of it on the plate.

Beverage Options: Despite its extensive alcohol selection, 16Eleven falls short in providing a diverse range of beverage options. With a focus primarily on alcoholic beverages, the absence of non-alcoholic alternatives limits choices for patrons seeking alternatives to complement their dining experience.

Tea Selection: The hot tea offering, fell very short of expectations. Instead of fresh tea leaves, patrons are offered a limited choice of Twinings tea bags, accompanied by basic hot water. The absence of milk as an option further detracts from the overall tea experience.

Overall Impression: 16Eleven presents itself as a restaurant with great potential, boasting a captivating ambiance that promises an enjoyable dining experience. However, the mediocre food quality and limited beverage offerings undermine this promise, resulting in a mixed experience for patrons. While certain dishes, like the lemon tart, showcase culinary prowess, improvements are needed to elevate the overall dining experience to match the allure of the...
