Æsir Meadery produces the best mead in WA and some of the best I've had in the world. Erik, who runs the place and brews the mead, is extremely knowledgable and extremely helpful and kind. If you're new to mead or have tried many, this is a must-go place. I've been a regular customer buying mead for the past 5 years and I will keep buying more for as long as he keeps making it. Erik sources all of his honey and ingredients locally and you can taste the passion. He has extremely high standards for quality and it makes a difference. Ended up getting a bottle at Toggles. Pretty great stuff; the flavors are on point and taste very fresh and rich. As if that wasn't enough, Erik is friendly, enthusiastic, and clearly enjoys his craft. If you can buy from him directly (at a farmers' market, or at the meadery), I highly recommend doing so.
