I am so upset right now. As I sat down to eat my food I was told that my mama died today. While trying to deal with the first rush of emotion and find out what happened my food got cold. Totally not their fault of course but cold fries only deepen sadness and I can't make myself eat the fries cold. So I explained and asked nicely if maybe I could get fresh fries. Not my whole meal at all, just the small order of french fries. The hugely fat adult manager who is not in proper uniform, has grease stains all over his clothes and looks like a complete slob in comparison to the nice immaculately groomed young lady who took my order decided "ahhhyeah no. I really can't do that" and turns away from the counter. With no words of apology at all, no words of condolences and a rolling eyed expression that may have well said aloud "f#©10 you" I replied in genuine astonishment at his disgusting attitude (which is easily matched by his appearance and hygiene) "are you serious? You can't offer a warm replacement for cold fries for me considering what just happened?" He continued with the same go to hell attitude and replied "yeah if I do it for you I'd have to do it for everyone"..... "Everyone who is notified of a close family death as they sit to dine?" I replied. (Would that be such a terrible thing?) He turned his back on me and walked away. Leaving me now angry on top of my fresh grief. I haven't eaten anything today and this unpleasant meal will be the fuel for the rest of the day processing emotionally and preparing for the trip and all else to come. Great job Sean/Shawn. You are the worst human being I've encountered in .... Wow... Years. And now that I had the nerve to speak up about his caviler attitude and condescending way. I have been told to leave the store. By the man who has informed me that he is the store manager. Wow how does that happen. Isn't customer service part of that position anymore?!? Way to treat your customers. I'm fuming and sick to my stomach. Worst fining decision in a decade. The photos were taken as he carelessly told a customer that he does not know what kind of oil he uses to fry the food in. Great management...
Read moreI have never had a problem with this restaurant until last night. The fact that I'm making this says a lot because this is only the second review I've made in my life. The first negative one. Very rude manager. The worst manager/employee that I have ever come across in my 30 years of life. Someone else should be running this establishment. The manager got mad when I tried adding 60 cents on top of my 20 bill. That way, I could get a 5 back because my total was $15.60. He didn't tell me the total until I was at the window in the drive-thru. So I handed him the 20 bill and was preparing the 60 cents which I already had in my other hand. Only needed about 2 seconds to grab the 2 quarters and dime but he instantly put the 20 in the register and then denied me for getting a 5 back and instead, popped attitude for me simply wanting to get rid of my change instead of getting more to deal with. He claimed people will try handing extra change and then lie about the money they gave so they can try stealing more. Even though I told him how I already had the change ready and just wanted a 5 back but he didn't give me enough time at all. He didn't care. He said people steal money all the time because of the area we live in (so basically, he looked me straight in the face and said I'd steal from them). Then, when I got upset, he instantly told me to leave, told me he would trespass me, and said I was being rude. I've never been trespassed anywhere in my life. Don't even have a scratch on my record because I'm a good person. The behavior from this person was disgusting, and I've never had an employee treat me with such low quality. He doesn't deserve to be working where there are customers to be taken care of. This is the bald manager that works most nights, and this was on Halloween night a little past midnight. The fact that you'll treat your customers like garbage even on a holiday baffles me. Someone needs to look into this employees behavior because I see a lot of other reviews made...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting Jack in the Box on Evergreen Way, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. From the moment I entered the restaurant, I noticed the efforts made by the staff to provide excellent customer service.
The person who took my order greeted me with a smile and made direct eye contact, instantly making me feel welcomed. It's refreshing to encounter employees who genuinely care about creating a positive customer experience. Their friendly demeanor set the tone for my visit.
When my food was delivered, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the delivery person also made eye contact and smiled. These small gestures may seem insignificant, but they make a significant difference in how customers feel and perceive the overall service.
Moreover, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the restaurant. The interior was well-maintained and spotless, creating a pleasant environment to enjoy my meal.
It's unfortunate that not all fast food places prioritize these aspects, but Jack in the Box on Evergreen Way truly stood out. The staff's commitment to making eye contact and smiling demonstrated their dedication to customer satisfaction.
I highly commend the team at Jack in the Box for their exceptional customer service. Such experiences leave a lasting impression and make me want to return in the future. I hope other fast food establishments can learn from their example.
