Charming place with some exceptional tasting food! Hats off to Cody for the wonderful service! This was a darling family owned style restaurant with some long time local history and that alone should bring you in if you’re venturing out in the area. Also this is a wonderful setting to bring a date. My girlfriend had the lasagna napoletane and I the penne alla carbonara. We also enjoyed a glass of some Chianti. My only gripe would be the price. Which was over $90 after a generous tip and I just felt that’s a lot to feed two people with one drink when you factor the bread was only complimentary with the initial serving, salad was very basic and you could not sub out for a specific salad with out cost. I feel like the best restaurants will not penny pinch little things like that. Over all Gianni’s is I wonderful night out to eat and you should feel very good about stoping in!

Hi I really didn’t want to post this publicly but I wanted the owner to know because if I was an owner I would like to know so I don’t loose customers. I have ordering there for awhile I always order fettuccine and it’s great . Today I ordered fettuccine and the garlic shrimp pasta for my husband. The food was raw . Literally nothing was sautéed. Order was received in 30 min from door dash it was fast fast . I called and spoke to manager. He said he cooked it and I don’t want him to get introuble because my other food was great . But this dish was terrible. My husband came and I had to cook him dinner . I called door dash they gave me my money on this meal Back . I wanted the owner to know because Incase your sales low you might want to look at your night cooking procedures. The dessert great

First time here. Came for our anniversary, looking for good Italian food. We were very disappointed. The building is old, and not only do you have "old building" smell, it also smelled faintly like urine. Makes it hard to enjoy your dinner! For my husband, the beer selection was poor, the Italian beer he ordered wasn't available and the IPA was one of the last 2 bottles in the building! The side salad was plain salad greens drowned in Italian dressing. The chicken fettuccine was also swamped with sauce. Noodles were almost too soft, the chicken had no flavour. The only upside was the very pleasant wait staff. We won't be back and didn't hang around to find out what dessert might be.

THIS IS NOT ITALIAN FOOD! I ordered at Gianni’s Ristorante Italiano through Uber Eats today. It was around noon but the Gianni’s did not offer the lunch prices on uber eats only dinner options. We did not mind the cost since we thought we would be getting a flavorful lunch with dinner size portions. I was actually very disappointed with how BLAND ALL of our food was!!! We spent just under $100 for lunch today on the uber eats app with the uber eats charge and tip, it was a huge DISAPPOINTMENT! We were given lunch size portions with the dinner price and online it had us choose soup or salad with each dinner entrée but did not receive it. We ordered the Chicken Fettuccine, Very bland with little flavor and online it said it came with soup or salad, I chose soup and it came with neither. We ordered the ravioli with meat balls and the red sauce was very tasteless unfortunately, the meatballs taste like plane meatballs and the side also did not show up with our meal. We ordered tiramisu and that was also disappointing, it was more like a cake with a light tiramisu flavoring nothing Italian about it. We also ordered bruschetta we received two pieces of bread that was soggy with a bland tomato paste on top again very very bland with NO flavor, it says It has olive oil, garlic and oregano on it, the only thing we got was a tomato paste with oregano. How is this considered Italian? Where are the fresh ingredients? Canned tomato paste is not what you should be serving customers that are paying an average $20 a plate! On top of that we ordered the Gianni’s Pizza Special, it was pizza nothing special but it was the best item we received. For an Italian restaurant I was very disappointed and will not be ordering food from here again nor wasting our money by dinning in. From what we ate today, this was a disappointment to Italian food. Dinner includes: Bread with tapenade, soup and salad but we DID NOT receive any of it with our meals. Chicken Fettuccini (Did not show up with the soup option for a side) $20.50 Ravioli with meat balls $19.50 Bruschetta (Italian Toasted Garlic Bread with Tomatoes, Olive Oil, Garlic & Oregano) $6.50 Gianni’s Special (Pepperoni, Sausage, Mushrooms Large 19.95 Tiramisu $6.95 Food before tax came to $73.40 Add Tax, Add Uber Fee & Add Uber Driver Tip. Just under $100 for a...

The server was energetic but extremely unprofessional, given the average cost of one plate (without the soup and salad) is $22. When I mentioned my husband spoke Spanish, he says, "I should hire you for my kitchen." We were mortified. Side note, salad is a tea cup saucer of lettuce. No veggies. We should have walked out then. We regret that we didn't.

The bread basket and tapenade tasted like the essence of a honey bucket air freshener.... seriously, I can buy better from Safeway.

Ordered Spaghetti Pasqua and Pollo Pistachio. The first one was a bowl of wet penne noodles (not even spaghetti) with bacon bits and 3 peas. No flavor. I ate the noodles because it cost $20. The second, a creamy penne dish with peas and 2 smaller- than- chicken- nugget- sized chicken pieces. We found 2 pistachios in the dish. It was sweeter than a cupcake with frosting. My husband is a big guy and he barely finished a third of his plate. We're not antagonistic people so we just decided to pay and get out of there.

Told our neighbors about the experience and they were laughing because they already knew this place was trash. I read the comments following the visit, and feel I'm very disconnected with these so called fans of this place. Someone said in the comments that they felt like the rat pack had been here....but I feel more like a victim of a mob murder.

But wait, there's more. The waiter offered us dessert, saying "you sure you don't want the DEVIL'S CHOCOLATE CAKE FROM HELL?" And I resisted saying that the food was already hell.

2 stars because it was clean but keep in mind this staff also cursed every song that came on the sound system there like they were subject to some sort of wrath and doomed to listen to whatever was being played for all of eternity. So awkward when your server cusses at a Christmas song.

P.S. A glass of mystery wine will cost you $10.50-11.50/glass🤣

$75 wasted and I'm still cringing. Won't ever be back. Will...

The absolute worst spaghetti with meat sauce ever!! My autistic son eats Amante every night and absolutely loves their spaghetti and it’s $5 cheaper and have free delivery and 15% discounts for $15 or more….unfortunately amantes is closed for a week so we tried a new Italian restaurant in Giannis and to our surprise it was terrible but their customer service was just as bad…My son complains about nothing unless there is something wrong with it, and it was dry and old. I respectfully called immediately after getting home and trying it and explained to the waitress who said she had no authority in that situation so I was given to the chef/owner who basically said oh well sorry about your luck never heard that before. But he did admit when I asked if it was a fresh dish that it was made earlier in the day so really that’s probably why it wasn’t tasty or edible for my son and looked old as hell….I explained we are loyal repeat customers when my son likes something and we tried you guys out and that’s the experience you want us to end with. He said yes so here we are, I wasted almost $22 for a small bowl of hours old spaghetti and now I have to buy my son something completely different. Stay away...
