Updated Review of PF Changs Marlton
After my initial review, I felt it was important to share an update on our experience at PF Changs in Marlton. When I first wrote my review, I was understandably upset about the lack of accommodations for my disabled mom and the disappointing behavior from the staff that evening. Following my feedback, I reached out to corporate and was fortunate enough to connect with Matt, the general manager for this location.
Matt took the time to have an in-depth conversation with me, expressing sincere apologies for the treatment we received and ensuring that he would address the situation with his staff to prevent it from happening again. I truly appreciated his accountability and the reassurance that future visits would be better for my mom and other disabled patrons.
He exceeded my expectations by inviting us back and guaranteeing that we would be well taken care of during our next visit. I'm pleased to report that he delivered on that promise. Our waiter was incredibly friendly and provided excellent suggestions on food, drinks, and dessert. The manager on duty also came by to personally apologize for the previous incident, and the employee who had stared at us struggling to get through the door with a wheelchair during our last visit, opened the door for us this time, which made a significant difference.
As for the food, it was as delicious as weâve come to expect from PF Changs, and the drinks were equally delightful. Overall, the service was exceptional. While the initial situation was handled poorly, I commend Matt for taking the necessary steps to rectify it and for demonstrating that he genuinely values his customers.
I wanted to update my review to reflect this positive turnaround. We will definitely be returning and look forward to our next visit! Thank you, Matt and the PF Changs team, for making this a much more enjoyable experience.
**Initial review
Brought my mom here for happy hour because she loves the crab Rangoon and tempura green beans. My mom is wheelchair bound and this restaurant makes ZERO handicap accommodations. For starters the two hostesses saw me struggling to get the wheelchair through the door and neither one of them thought to come hold the door open to allow us through. Poor customer service and just overall poor manners as most people seeing someone struggle would kindly hold the door open.
Next we informed them we wanted to do the happy hour specials and they told us we will have to sit at the bar...on high top seats. My mom struggles severely with mobility so transferring her to a high top seat would be a struggle. There were booths right by the bar but we apparently can't sit there if we want happy hour. In addition the bar seating was completely full and they still refused to let us sit and order happy hour away unless we sat at the bar which had no seats.
We left and went to Flemings for their happy hour specials. Not only was the food excellent but the service was top notch and they held the door open for us like decent human beings.
PF Changs is ableist and I don't recommend unless you enjoy being discriminated against due to a...
Read moreService was also very slow and they only had less than 50% occupancy. Three years ago I gave this rest 3 stars and I now decreased it to one star. We thought maybe our experience was just an aberration, but sadly it seems this restaurant is now off our rotation list.
After paying our bills, the manager came to our table and asked us how our meals and service was. After explaining my rating he compensated us by chopping our bills in half. We were very grateful that he did that because there are many restaurants that wonât bother to do anything. This doesnât change my rating nor will it persuade us to return again. Two tries three years apart is enough.
My wife & I havenât been to P.F. Changâs in about 2 years. It has changed, to say the least. The music is overly loud and obnoxious. Playing loud music causes everyone to talk louder and therefore spraying more aerosols that could carry the COVID virus.
My wife and I wanted to share an order of Spring Rolls, but there were two very small rolls, each cut in half. One byte for each half, thatâs it. Not worth the money. However, our entrees were a little. better, but my wifeâs Shrimp with Lobster Sauce lacked taste for the most part, except for the little bit of tasty shrimp. My Wonton Soup brother was more like hot water than anything with any body to it.
One of our friends that joined us ordered Egg-drop Soup and found that it was also tasteless.
We would not have eaten here if it were not for a gift card we received. I donât think we will...
Read moreThis wasn't an ordinary day. This was the day I handed in my resignation to a company I had been with for over 25 years. My eyes were puffy and bloodshot when my daughter asked, "Let's go to lunch ,my treat. We chose PFChangs in Marlton on Route 73. She mentioned a few places and then PFCHANGS. I was already tasting the lettuce wraps. They are my favorite. Mark greeted us immediately. I could tell he is a real professional. I asked his name because I was already intending to leave a review. Decore is fashionable and inviting. I was taking pictures as I always do. Mark pointed out that there is a scan to take you right to Google review page for their restaurant . đ I told him I was aware as I was a local guide. 7. I'm not sure if he knew what that meant. The food was delicious . We did place an order specific to a coupon my daughter had. She ordered the Honey Cruchy chicken as a meal. This was excellent. I ordered the lettuce wraps, which was going to be my meal. They always taste so good and fresh. Alyson ordered spring rolls as an appetizer. So we are enjoying our meal talking about what had just happened at the office. Mark came over to the table and apologized to my daughter that her meal that was prepared was a lunch portion. Mark had another order put in to go. At that moment, Chelsea, the manager, came over and again with Mark apologized and would like to treat us to dessert. Chelsea started naming all the desserts.I heard cheesecake, and Alyson loves that, but then Alyson heard chocolate cake. Chelsea brought both out with Mark as he completed the celebration with a big, firey candle and bubbles. Mark and Chelsea made a memorable moment even better . The chocolate cake is decadent and should be sharedđ I had a bite of the cheslesecake...
