Breakfast Hut — Restaurant in Exeter Township

Super friendly staff and great breakfast times. This is definitely an outstanding place to grab a bite while in Reading/Exeter. Family friendly with hot, fresh food and the staff doesnt miss a beat! I have had the Italian Omelet and it was a hit, the Grand Slam (pancakes were a hit and sausage a stand out not being overly spiced with fennel) was a grand slam and now stuffed French toast and another hit! You won't leave hungry and you wont leave without a smile! Backroom is great if you like it cooler, and the front a bit warmer. 1st time there. We walked in, and got seated within 3 minutes. Our server was Jess. She was very good,attentive, and courteous server. Food was at our table hot and in great time. Didn't take long at all, food and coffee was delicious. Atmosphere was nice, place was clean. Michael at the register was very humorous and friendly. My wife and I enjoyed the experience and the staff. Hats off to the breakfast hut. Only one minor detail. The seating at the booths could use alittle more room. In other words, if your 250 lbs or more, ask for a table. The booth table was practically against my wife and myself's body, and neither of us are near 250 lbs. Went for breakfast and ordered Eggs Benedict with home fries and asked for onions which don’t come normally with the potatoes. Understand that any place may charge extra for the onions but $3.00. Could have purchased a 2 pound bag of onions for that price. LOL. Our check was so screwed up to begin with.

Yes, we questioned the server because only one of us had an unsweetened iced tea and I had water. She corrected the bill, less the 3.00. Went to the cashier and asked to pay separately.
