Ordered the Mediterranean Bowl for myself and food for the family to go and got home and opened this. If you want to know what the actual Mediterranean Bowl should look like go on the Panera website menu to see. Not only was the bowl completely missing any lettuce or greens as is listed in the ingredients the contents of the bowl barely touched the rim. I'm supposed to pay 11.95 for the full price of a bowl while your employees skimp and raje short cuts and stick it to customers. I can not tell you how furious I am with this location. If you are a chain and carry a name then take some damn pride in that name and make and package food that is consist with the Panera name and consistent with each visit. I have come here for years and this is the last straw. I've had sandwiches be given to me made to two bread ends. Other sandwiches made missing lettuce., missing feta. Smoothies missing. Your staff can't seriously be this inept or you just honestly don't care. The inconsistency is staggering. When you pick up your food the employees don't even acknowledge you. I'd say I'd return and during my next purchase open up all my food in front of them like the children they are working inside but that isn't worth my stress. Id rather drive the 9 miles to Wyomissing from now on so I know I will at least get food in the quality and quantity that is supposed to be known by Panera. Your location is a stain on...
Read moreUse caution, especially when ordering through the drive thur and paying with cash. This afternoon I decided to stop by for a smoothie. Although there was only one item on my order, I wasn't given my total until I drove around to the pick-up window. $6.03 was my total, I had $20 in my hand, but as soon as I learned the total I said "Hold on, I have the 3 cents." By that time the window had already been closed and the woman at the cash register spent about 30 seconds counting out change. They were out of quarters so she actually had to count other coins to reach the 97 cents. When she reopened the window to hand me my change, she said "sorry, we are out of quarters." I replied, "no problem, just take this 3 cents and give me a dollar back." she took my 3 cents and the handful of coins and closed the window. I guess she thought she deserved $1 tip for her ridiculous service, or she was just entirely confused at that point. Either way, my 12oz smoothie ends up costing me $7. That's pretty insane, but at least I will be saving money, by not spending anymore at this particular location, which happens to be the one closest to my home. Just be careful, as it seems that communication while using the drive thur is unreliable. Best of luck to future customers as well as those behind...
Read moreI walked in shortly after 7:00am on Wednesday - they'd barely just opened. It was absolutely FRIGID in here, and just got colder throughout my visit. I mentioned this fact at the counter, but got no response from the person manning the register. I tried to sit somewhere where the ceiling vents did not blow right down on me, but eventually I couldn't stand it anymore and had to leave early. This is the 3rd or 4th time I've been here when it's been so ridiculously cold. And the music was so loud it would be difficult to hold a conversation with someone seated directly across from you. Also I was frequently distracted by the circus atmosphere, yelling, loud laughing, and carrying on, by the employees in the food prep area. My bagel was good, however, and I really like the walnut cream cheese spread they have at Panera. It's unique and very tasty. This store itself, however, needs a little help. (4395 Perkiomen Ave., Reading, PA store). This store is closest to my home, but I most frequently go to the Wyomissing or Temple store as the atmosphere at those two locations is more...
