I went into this store on Thursday 2/27/2020 to look for a new phone upgrade from my old and basically unusable Galaxy Note 4. I spoke with Daniel K who assisted me immediately and I told him the issues I was having with my current Note 4 phone (couldn't connect to the internet/network-I had Tmobile-, was getting dropped wifi signals, etc). I told him I was looking into getting the most current Galaxy Note 10+ since I love that model line and then I asked him more questions about the Verizon unlimited plans and how much my monthly bill would be for Verizon service and phone financing payments. He was more than happy to write up a billing summary for my monthly payment amounts which broke down each payment aspect and really clarified things and helped me decide on whether or not I wanted to upgrade to an expensive phone and more expensive monthly bill, as I was hesitant on paying more per month than I had been at Tmobile before speaking with him. I then told him I wanted to just check out and mess around with the Note 10+ display phone and a few other phones to see if I liked their features and he was perfectly fine with me spending 15-20 minutes just exploring the phone while he helped another customer. I left that day deciding on whether to upgrade or not and I did decide to upgrade and so I returned the next day, Friday 2/28/2020, to purchase the newer Note phone and Verizon service plan. Daniel had told me the previous day that my Note 4 would give me a $350 credit towards the newer Note 10+ which I didn't think would be possible since it's such an older model and that really helped my decision as well.
Daniel was of such great help in setting up my new Note 10+ on Friday 2/28/2020 as he setup all of the Verizon network connections and my new Verizon account settings and info, helped me move all my contacts and other data to my new phone, helped me transfer my same phone number to the new phone, and changed the phone's settings to best fit the Note 10+'s efficiency and use. He recommended a good screen protector to use and showed me a good selection of cases to buy for the Note 10+. He even applied the screen protector I bought for no extra charge and did a perfect, bubble-free job applying it which was awesome as applying screen protectors can be such a hassle.
In the end, the entire process of Daniel helping me setup all the details for my new phone and service plan was seamless and very pleasant as he chatted with me as he setup my phone and account.
Daniel is a great employee and he should get a good raise as he's doing a great job and really cares about his customers. Definitely hang onto him as...
Read moreThe worst experience I have ever had with a wireless company. Took 4 hours to sign up for service initially. The guy that processed everything kept telling us we had no deals available to us as a brand new never before customer switching from another carrier all while another girl was standing there telling him several promotions we were eligible for. After going home we found out that best buy had a much better deal on the phones we purchased. So we went back and wanted a price match which they refused to do but instead just then decides to tell us about a rebate that we were eligible for that they initially denied we could get. So we called customer service for verizon wireless and they said we could either be price matched by the store or return the phones and go over to best buy to repurchase them at the lower rate. The store refused to price match and then refused to return the phones because the person working didn't know how apparently. Her manager wouldn't talk her through it over the phone and wouldn't come in to help. So we were forced to come back the next day. At which time the manager had agreed to be there to process the return. However we sat there for almost 3 hours waiting and he never showed up. To which my husband had to call customer service and explain the whole situation. Customer service was amazing and had the whole issue resolved in 10 minutes. So we are home and realized that the jerk that was processing our initial set up charged us $20.00 per line for 3 lines to transfer our data from our old phones after I told him I could do it myself!!!! Absolute worst experience ever! They lied several times. Cheated us out of rebates and customer deals as new customers, neglected to tell us they were charging us fees that we would have been able to avoid, and were extremely difficult to work with! Heed my warning and don't use this store! Go to best buy or just call and work with verizon wireless...
Read morethe customer service rep was very nice in the store; however, this store apparently cannot do simple things like transfer lines. as a whole, Verizon makes it incredibly difficult for abuse survivors to independently separate themselves from their previous phone plans. there really should be better resources out there for customers going through a similar situation, or possibly worse. getting away from the abuser is half the battle, and Verizon sure doesn't make that process easy. this review is based on Verizon as a whole, as this now goes into month 3 of me trying to simply move my one phone line to my own...
