This was a fun experience. It was my first time doing anything like this so I was really looking forward to it. The staff makes it their personal mission to ensure that you are well taken care of, and that you have all of the supplies (brushes, paint, etc) that you need to paint a nice picture. I went with my wife to one of the trivia sessions (The Office Trivia Night). It added a fun component to an already entertaining activity. All in all, I would definitely say to give it a try (even if you aren't anywhere near artistic...like me!). Also, keep in mind that you dont have to paint exactly what your instructor does. You can paint anything you want, in any color(s) you want. However, be advised that if you do decide to go rogue , you are doing so at your own risk. I decided prior to getting there that I was going to paint a heart in my picture instead of a beet (which is what the instructor was painting). I thought that I would be able to ask my instructor to draw the heart for me, and that I would simply be able to color it in. But she didnt really seem like she wanted to do it, and instead just encouraged me to do it on my own. I dont think she was trying to be unhelpful or difficult, but initially that's how I took it. However looking back on it, the instructors are not there to paint for us, but rather teach us how to paint! That's the whole point of the entire experience! So, long story short:

  1. Give it a go!

  2. Don't be afraid to take chances! (I colored my background red, while the entire class did their's in black!)

3)...

Last night was the 4th time that I have done painting with a twist over the years. Last night was the first time I’ve gone to the Exeter location (I usually use Lancaster). Ravyn was our painter and it was not a good experience. Painting with a twist emphasizes that anyone can paint and leave with a decent painting. I asked Ravyn a couple of times to help my boyfriend catch up or assist him with his painting. She didn’t. She was more concerned with finishing her painting so that she could take it home to hang up in her home. We spent $100 and my boyfriend’s painting looked bad. It was supposed to be a gift for his mom and now it’s a waste. She had 5 people in the group. She was rushing us. She would jump to several steps ahead, she waited for no one. She told us that she had a babysitter for her son, and had plans afterword. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this was just an awful experience and I usually love this place. She also mentioned that she was a bartender at the local strip club and made penis jokes about the snowman’s carrot nose. It was wild and...

My review is more about the home hits they offer I decided to try a home kit since I don't see them doing anything I like right now in person so I thought I would give the home kit a shot I was very disappointed with the direction I definitely can't follow them I thought there would be images with steps its more like a Description which does not work for me im more of a visual learner I ended up not doing it and they don't do refunds so for 60 dollar's I was expecting better besides that I have no complaint if you decide to do one gofor one that has a video I guess im just going to stick to in person

Update manger got in contact with me and asked me if I would want to come in on the drop in time they have available and you can paint what ever they have theres somone there to help you or you can just paint independently the young lady there today was great she was friendly and very helpful when I had questions was a nice relaxing Environment as well now that I know they have those open times I will definitely ...

For our 24th anniversary, my wife and I decided to celebrate by doing a painting session together at Painting with a Twist. The theme for the night was a stunning full moon reflecting on the water. We were joined by two other painters, and we had an amazing time! Our instructor, Brandi, was fantastic; attentive, funny, witty, and so personable. We arrived 30 minutes early to make our own candles, and after that, we got started on our painting. While waiting for the paint to dry, Brandi kept us entertained with trivia and great conversation. We’ve visited Painting with a Twist locations in New York, Florida, and now Pennsylvania, and this one was by far the most fun. Thank you, Brandi, for a memorable anniversary!

Ashlee was amazing! I’ve been to many PWAT in Philadelphia and this experience was so personal. We did the I AM painting and she shared something about affirmations with us that helped us choose great affirmations for ourselves! Her music playlist was great too! She also helped our group fix things on our painting! It was really my most favorite session and I have painted at quite a few at PWAT( in Philly). Ashlee is an amazing instructor!! We had a great time!!
