Best place EVER to work out, rehab, get training, feel appreciated and be a better you. Recently I was recovering from a severe tibial plateau break & was told I'd likely not walk ever w/o walker or wheelchair by a physical therapist. Therapy was expensive & not challenging so I visited local gyms with similar equipment to see if I could do better for less. A few gyms were ok but then one Sat I happened upon Exeter Fitness. I paid the day rate and Brandon the front desk young man immediately made sure I was oriented and informed helping me with equipment and settings. I was using a walker then so it was really kind & made me comfortable to be treated so well. Everything I needed was close to the front from leg machines to cardio bikes. EVERYTHING was pristine and immaculate in perfect working order The next day I went back and had the same experience with Jordan and John who showed me how to use more equipment. The next week I visited 3X paying the day rate & Alison & Sara suggested I just pay for a month as they assisted me on various topics & equip. Brandon had me leave the walker at the door & walked with me using my cane instead! Then the Big Boss Daddy Pete, nicest kindest boss it seems, promised me if I joined I could cancel whenever-no penalties or charges. So I did. I knew I needed help on familiarizing myself with needs & equip for recovery. I enquired about personal training and Stefano was recommended since he had experience with rehab patients. He is THE BEST. So knowledgeable and patient. Within 1 month of entering Exeter Fitness I was walker free & today don't really need the cane If you want a great place to workout with a professional smart staff, positive energy, amazing well maintained equipment and a really decent clientele, this is your best bet. Everyone skews young here but there are a few oldsters like me who feel at home. Best value and I can't imagine not being here 3X a week. It's like a cool family atmosphere with a bunch of high achievers!!! Every staff member is way above average. I could be more positive but I don't have better words so my sincerity hopefully...

Read moreI joined Exeter fitness a little over 2 years ago. I love how consistently clean this gym has been since day one and I love the equipment at this gym. The trainers are so friendly. My only complaint is the front desk employees who also work at the smoothie bar. I was so excited when they opened a smoothie bar at Exeter fitness because itâs so convenient and I used to pick up my smoothies (when I donât have the time to make it myself at home) from colonial fitness however, since Exeter fitness is where I workout at, itâs more convenient to grab it there right after my workouts. John is always extremely so rude and bothered when I request a smoothie. This is every time. The last time, he threw the bonus card at my friend and thatâs when we made the decision to never purchase smoothies there again. We pay for our smoothies and we shouldnât had a terrible experience each time. I also requested to redeem my points for a drink from the fridge and he charged my debit card for that drink. No big deal, it was only $4 but I have so many reward points and thatâs why I requested to redeem my points. Other than the bad experiences I had at the smoothie bar, I have no other complaints...
