The Juicery — Restaurant in Exeter

Fly-infested, slow service, and subpar food. I want to like this place because at first glance the menu looks great, and the vibe seems cool.

A juice and smoothie shop should feel clean, cool, and fresh, but instead this place always feels warm and dirty. I was just there and the place was full of flies. I couldn't sit down without being attacked by 4 or 5 flies, while I waited 25+ minutes for a smoothie and a bowl. I was the only one in line, mind you, so there was no reason for such slow service. Then the food... it's just average. The acaii bowls have minimal toppings. I expect the bowl to be packed with toppings. After a few bites you're done with toppings and all you have left is the acaii.

My suggestions for management: run the A/C so it's cooler in there, take care of your fly problem, hire more staff so customers don't wait so long, and don't skimp on your...

Great smoothies but we came in on a Sunday with 7 people in the store which were all enjoying their snacks and smoothies while we waited maybe 10 minutes plus for two smoothies a 16oz and a 24oz. None of the four young girls behind the counter acknowledged us or asked if we were all set. Instead they carried on with their personal conversation and continued to ignore us. When we peaked around the corner to see if they were made or just sitting on the counter is when finally we were asked if we were waiting for something. One smoothie was made and in the cooler while the other one was still not made. I’m not one to complain about stuff like this but having worked in the restaurant industry and having been an assistant manager there is nothing more that bothers me than being ignored. I’m there a LOT (Peanut Butter Bliss is aptly named.) Last Tuesday I stopped in and Sophia mentioned that they had an extra serving of their avocado toast, and would I like to have it?
