Walked up to the door at 5:50am and the dining room is closed. So I saw the hours and the inside opens at 6:00am, according to the posted signs. I waited. At 6:10am, I knocked on the door and knocked again, as I could see someone in the reflection. I knocked louder and finally she looked at me and I signaled the door was locked and the hours. She motioned as like go through the drive thru. (I'm not in a vehicle). I continued waiting. After 5 minutes I saw another sneakily peek around the corner at me and I knocked again. Nothing. I knocked loudly again and the lady again held up her hand as to say hold on. At this point, a lady came from the back cooking area, wearing a black shirt, I assumed the Manager. She looked directly at me and I thought she was coming to open the doors since it was now well after 6am, again according to the POSTED HOURS. She did not come unlock the door. I thought maybe since I had apparently disturbed them, the door I was standing at would be the last door to be unlocked. As I watched her exit, it was clear she wasn't opening the doors, as she went outside and propped the door open with a yellow wet floor sign. So I walked around to that side of the building and saw the lady sitting in her car with the door open, I guessed having a smoke break. She saw me and IMMEDIATELY began YELLING at me "Uh uh, DON'T GO IN THAT STORE, YOU BETTER NOT, UH UH, IT'S NOT OPEN", all while walking towards me. I told her I'm not going in there and kept trying to ask if she was the manager to which she said yes. All at the same time telling me it's not open. Attempting to remind her what the posted dining room hours indicated, I asked what time does the store open. She replied the INSIDE opens at 7:00am, while walking past me and closing the door. I tried calling the phone number associated with the store to which it is not in service, which isn't a surprise. It's truly disappointing that these franchise businesses lack accurate contact information, phone numbers specifically, so customers may contact them directly rather than going to Corporate to communicate. In this instance, better communication was all that was needed. Post the correct inside hours. Give 2 stars, only because the drive thru was open and at least those hours were...
Read moreWay to shine, McDonald's. My brother, cousin and I stopped in for a visit after an extremely difficult day thinking at least McDonald's will cheer us up. A little mickey ds USUALLY cheers ya up. Well we parked, exhausted we get out of the car walk up to the locked door and with some befuddlement see a couple of the managers sitting at the lobby tables, watching TV, clearly relaxing and enjoying themselves (which is exactly what WE were hoping to join them in doing). I thought it must be later than I realized so I checked my watch - it was 9:54. Looked at the door again, sign said it was open in the lobby till 11:00 PM Monday thru Thursday. This is Wednesday, so I make eye contact with the two ladies sitting there who have now started to get up like we disturbed them. We said loudly "hey it's only 10, what's the deal?!" One of them rolled their eyes as if she were dealing with some special needs person that she just couldn't be bothered with and the two of them made their way to the counter, then behind the counter, then to the recesses of the store where I assume they went to do manager stuff. Which does not include, apparently, helping customers or the staff on hand help the customers. Or even take care of the little things, the details managers are supposed to be trained to take care of. Petty things like hours of operation didnt matter to them, nor my hungry belly, and my now sunken heart as we walked back to our car and drove away empty handed. It looked like the drive thru may have still been working, but after what we just went through, could you really blame us for heading on over to the competition who were, if you were wondering, not only open and doing a brisk trade, but were glad to see us and happy to whip us up some great food at a reasonable price, and within a very short amount of time. Imagine! Way to go...
Read moreIve lived in the area for about 5 years now and this location had declined so much over time.
I’ve dealt with all the managers that have come through and ran the location how they see fit. The manager they locked the doors and you could only go through drive thru, the manager that turned the app off and you could place orders-all of it. Constantly coming here to cold fries, missing items, long wait times, club soda makes you drive right pass the location to another or home.
The staff members act as if they hate you can to their job that they applied for even management.
I’m starting to feel that McDonalds as an entity forgets they are supposed to be a convenience. I visit this location and the line is wrapped around the building every single time and I rarely leave my home. This is located near an industrial park meaning a lot of individuals work in this area and attempt to patronize this location on their breaks. I went to this location before new years and a member of management was complaining that people were parking and coming inside- the drive thru was at a stand still- you offer a lobby, what is the problem?
I think that going forward this and all fast food locations need to hire people who have a good understanding of what the job entails- working, providing a service, fulfilling a duty. I don’t disrespect fast food workers I feel we all have a place in society to provide something to one another however accepting roles with no attempt to actually do it correctly is what causes piss poor service and lost customer base. McDonald’s may still be in business today but enough of a bad thing can cause any organization...
