I would actually rate this situation without any stars if it were possible. I called to order food and have my girlfriend pick it up and the manager refused to take my credit card over the phone so I could pay. I explained that we do this at least once every two weeks and I pay over the phone with my credit card but the manager refused due to the possibility of credit card fraud. I accepted her decision and asked if I purchased an e-gift card off their website and and sent it to my girlfriend as a gift could I call and place my order. She basically told me "NO" and her reasoning was their gift cards take 4 hours to process. Well I tried anyways and it went through in 10 minutes. I called back and Alyssa, the "manager" still refused my order because it was getting close to when they close BUT I asked and she confirmed their kitchen was open until the restaurant closed. So there are a few issues here to think about. The first one is, instead of trying to help me find a solution to my problem she was sure be extremely vindictive and refuse me service. I let her know that I was typing a complaint via her restaurants website and she then accused me of giving her an ultimatum. Keep in mind I'm the customer here. I was calm the whole time as she was taking everything very personal. When she refused to take my order it almost sounded as though she was threatening me and certainly not handling the situaion correctly. I was amazed. Everyone has a bad day here and there BUT I've never been treated this was at any restaurant that I can recall and expecially concering a take out order. I explained that no manager was involved in the past when I placed these orders and that I was surprised she refused me service. She told me their POS systems had been upgraded in the last 10 days and it was impossible for her to place my order that way. But she caught herself in her own lie multiple times because she kept asking me "which manager approved this". I explained I was never questioned. So that tells me she lied about being able to approve to take my payment over the phone and also possibly about this restaurant installing new POS systems which is neither here nor there. The issue is she refused to help me when she refused my one request but I accepted the fact that she refused to take payment over the phone and asked what else could we do. She told me there was no solution to my problem and every adult knows there is always a way. Especially when you have a customer who is being cooperative but it takes two. You also need an employee, a manager in this case that needs to be cooperative as well. Too bad. I also wrote a 4 message complaint addressing the situation and I've heard nothing back from anyone at this location. Maybe when I leave a negative, truthful rational explanation as to why I was refused service and treated like a criminal when they broke the rules on their own multiple times in the past 3 or 4 months and I can prove it via banks statements it will get their attention. I'm sure there is someone in management or upper level management that will handle this situation with some "customer service" which is a word I haven't used so far in this long review because I'm not sure I know what that term means after this failure of a transaction. I guess Alyssa must have already had a good night with food sales on the 6th of March 2018 because she certainly wasn't interesed in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTerrible experience on Sept 11, 2021 @ 745pm or so. I cannot legitimately complain about the wait to get in (45 minutes), but once we entered it was problem after problem.
We had a party of seven (my wife's birthday, so me, her, 2 adult children with friend and girlfriend, and the youngest child at 13.)
We sat at a table, surrounded by the worst noise level you can imagine. Televisions are all around, blasting out something to compete with all the other televisions blaring different sports at the same time. So loud you need to struggle to hear the person next to you. It was cool but not freezing, so temperatures were reasonably ok.
Orders start to get taken. The waitress (instead of doing the normal "we have Pepsi products" and giving examples just told the group "flip your menus and all the drinks are there" when asked.). An appetizer was ordered.
When drinks arrived they were all handed out wrong. (I'm pre diabetic so I always order diet to avoid taking in extra sugar. I ordered diet Pepsi and was given root beer.)
We ordered...and waited. And waited. Finally after about 20-25 minutes when you would expect the table to be served, waitress drops off... TWO MEALS OF SEVEN and walks away, NO EXPLANATION.
The two who were served nibble slowly, expecting the rest to be served. 20 minutes later ANOTHER THREE MEALS come out. The waitress claims "we want the food to be hot as it comes out, so it's all staggered from the kitchen."
HUH? That doesn't make sense. First of all if true, the person with the SALAD should have we gotten that first.
My meal was in the second batch. (Burger, fries). The burger was hot and tasty. Fries were old and cold. Other people around the table had cold fries of boiling fries just out.
The waitress wandered by and made quips about "they are wrapping that wrap sandwich now."
People with WINGS at a WINGS JOINT had cool chicken wings while another person had boiling hot wings (physically, not spice level).
New drinks were handed out as badly as the first. Randomly and rudely.
My wife had a drink roughly plunked down with "Here." As the only conversation. She wasn't asked to confirm what she was drinking.
I was ignored, until near the end when another mystery drink was plunked in between me and my wife without conversation.
My wife had complained to management, and the server was not happy. One of our party could see her pointing to the table and obviously complaining to co workers about us. This was also going to be reported.
We were given mystery bills that needed to be sent back, then given discounts.
The server rung us up, copping an attitude even handing out the receipt to the one paying.
Not a great experience.
At the end of the night the one person with the boneless wings was throwing up. No other symptoms or illness. We highly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhen I was being taken to my table I saw a girl plating food in the kitchen and throwing celery and carrots on customers plates with NO GLOVES ON... she was just touching all the carrots and celery for customers to eat with her bare hands. I could not believe what I saw - that's so disgusting and unclean, especially with COVID. When I went back to take a another peek, I could also see kitchen staff not wearing gloves while plating burgers from the grill through the little window into the kitchen. It seemed like absolutely no one in the kitchen was wearing gloves. We were going to eat but obviously I'm not eating nasty food touched with dozens of bare hands. We ordered a beer and left.
That's just disgusting, and I'm shocked at how brazen they are about it! That girl throwing celery on plates with her gross bare hands is clearly visible to customers from inside the restaurant. I asked our server about the girl not wearing gloves, and she apologized and was very sweet. We asked her if we could talk to a manager, and she said the manager was IN THE KITCHEN cooking and would be a few minutes! So the manager knows that there are no gloves. When we asked her if the manager working in the kitchen knows that there are no gloves, she wouldn't respond, and apologized again. She was in a tough spot, so I don't blame her. What was she supposed to say?? We saw kitchen workers with no gloves, and she had to tell us the manager was in the kitchen cooking when we asked to speak to him. I thought she handled the situation as best as she could, and this issue is the restaurant's fault completely, not the fault of service staff that are doing their best to cover up the health and safety disaster in the kitchen. We told her to just cancel the manager who clearly knows about the health violations and left. Obviously reporting this incident to the Food Safety division of the Ohio Health Department to protect other customers. All I can say is this: save yourself the food poisoning and eat somewhere with basic...
