Frutta Bowls — Restaurant in Fairfield Township

The girl at the register was absolutely awful tonight. I was actually pretty shocked by her rudeness. Very snappy. I usually go to the mason location that is much further. But tonight when I googled it I realized there was one in liberty township so I drove 20 minutes to get there… I was so excited to have it.. but the girl was so snippy I could barely think what my usual order was or was called.. when she asked me what base I wanted I picked the greens & she was like we don’t have it.. so okay I picked the pitaya one or whatever it was called. & the other girl who was there who was MUCH nicer was like I don’t think we have enough we can do half & half.. I forget what the rude girl said but I was just like.. I honestly don’t care I’ll take whatever.. & that response kind of snapped the rude girl out of her attitude & she actually kind of smiled.. I ordered my bowl vegan.

& then I asked for avocado toast without cheese.. & then she went back to being rude & snapped “which one??” & I was like uhhhh the one with siracha because I literally couldn’t think..

I just wanted to remain kind and assumed maybe she was just having a bad day & the other girl was super nice.. so I still tipped 20%

& the nice girl made my bowl.. the rude girl was making the toast & I had a feeling it would have cheese on it.. I should of checked there but I didn’t.. I just wanted to get out of there & get home.. because I’ve not been having the best time in life myself..

But when I got home and saw the toast had cheese.. it just looked disgusting. The bottom of the toast has holes in it & it was SO cold.. I can’t eat it because I’m vegan..

I hope she imputed my bowl order correctly.. but when I got home I could only only take a few bites of it because I honestly just felt like crying.. I put the bowl in the fridge & hopefully it still tastes okay tomorrow..

I’ll probably call tomorrow to try & get my money back.. but I don’t really live close & I don’t think I’d be able to get there until Saturday evening or Sunday.. & I really hope the girl who was rude isn’t the manager… I’d rather not see her again.. & I’ll probably avoid that location because of it.. my total was 26 dollars and something after tip… really expensive cost to...

THEY NEED NEW EMPLOYEES! After reading another negative review, it’s clear I’m not the only one who experienced poor customer service. We were there yesterday around 6:40 PM, just 20 minutes before closing. We didn’t think it was too late to arrive, but when we walked in, we were met with no greetings and employees who clearly seemed unhappy to see us. They looked ready to go home, as the place appeared already cleaned up. We tried to order toast, but the girl told us they were out of it, which I find hard to believe, but we let it go. We then ordered a smoothie, and it was obvious from her expression that she didn’t want to make it. We got the smoothie and left, but again, no “thank you” or “have a good night.” As we were walking out, she followed us to lock the door at 6:50. When we tried the smoothie on our way to the car, we realized she didn’t add honey, and it was really sour. We had ordered a mango, strawberry, and honey smoothie, and had to throw it away. Very disappointing...

When they actually make what you ordered correctly, it's delicious. I have gotten the Mango green tea 3 different times & it's been 3 completely different drinks. Got the chocolate explosion & subbed the peanut butter for almond butter, & the 2nd time it looked like a completely different drink, & tasted like it had peanut butter (good thing I'm not allergic or anything). Girl at the counter was adamant that she didn't put peanut butter in it & was kind of rude. The staff is not friendly, they seem like a bunch teenagers that don't want to be there. I'm not expecting them to be giddy that I'm coming in, but when I have an issue it could be addressed with a bit more tact than it has...
