Literally the worst experience is standard here at this location. It’s the closest chipotle to us in Trenton- i would love to travel further to avoid this one, but gas prices are $5 a gallon, so you gotta do what you gotta do.
We arrive and find out that it’s cash only. My husband asks if he can order through the app to avoid having to leave and go get cash. This worked. So he sat in the restaurant and placed our order.
Their a/c is broken, so the restaurant was stuffy and uncomfortable. I can’t even imagine how the employees working there over the grills and hot food must feel.
Order gets placed and they made the food (while my husband was sitting there waiting), so he wasn’t watching them make everything like when you place the order in person. He trusted that they followed everything as he ordered. Wrong.
After being gone for almost an hour, we return home ONLY TO FIND THE ORDER ENTIRELY INCORRECT. I also want to be very clear that we are human and not free of error. My husband closely reviewed our order and out of our three meals, they got all three wrong. I ordered a chicken burrito that came with no chicken. If we looked back and realized that we forgot to select an ingredient on the app, that would be a different story and I wouldn’t be here ranting.
Again, I express that gas is $5 a gallon. We get all the way home, our burritos were tiny, missing ingredients, our bowl was missing ingredients. The only thing done properly was the soda we poured for ourselves and the chips and salsa.
I try to call, use the app, etc. can’t speak to a person. Everything is automated. They offered me 3 bogo coupons but I want my money back and a gas card for my struggles. I don’t want to go back and spend more money for things to be wrong. Not that anyone cares because there’s 10 more customers behind me who they know will still keep coming back but I’m done with chipotle. Refund me my money so I can go on with my life.

Read moreI just walked into my kitchen after having just returned from this Chipotle and had to share my horrible experience:
I came into this Chipotle having never had a major issue here before. I'm a big guy, so I order big bowls. I asked for extra white rice. I don't even think I got the "normal" amount of rice. I asked for extra pinto beans. I kid you not, this girl gave me 6 pinto beans. I had to ask her for more after she had already handed the bowl off to the next person. I know, I should have just walked away right there. But hunger causes us to do crazy things
Next was meat... I asked for chicken. The employee starts giving me steak. I told her, "No I asked for chicken." She looks me dead in the eye and asks, "Are you sure?" I positively asked for chicken. She gives me the chicken. Hardly any, but at least it was the right meat.
The condiment person did great. A stellar performance at pouring the sour cream and giving an ample amount of corn and cheese. No complaints with this particular employee's competence at performing her job.
Finally, the checkout... A man waiting on a large online order was waiting patiently to the side of the register. As the cashier was ringing up all of his items, she accidentally put my bowl into that mix. She looked at me and gave me HIS total (upward of $50). I corrected her by saying I only had the one bowl. She proceeds to panic, asking other employees frantically how to void a single item from the other bill. Having spent many years working in retail, I know that voiding items is something that should be covered in basic register training.
I don't know when or why this particular Chipotle location has suffered so drastically in its quality of service, but it saddens me. From now on, if I want Chipotle, I will take my business to...

Dried, rubbery quesadilla stuck together with no toppings as ordered. No cheese on a quesadillas that was supposed to have cheese & veggies. They put the veggies in a small sauce cup. The chips are stale!! Completely unedible!! This was for dinner not like it was an off time or at the end of the day. Our burrito bowl was not made correctly, toppings missing and didn't get the extra sauce that I PAID FOR!!! If chipotle wants to know why they've been in the news with the headline they are losing customers this is a perfect example. They have stopped caring, raised their prices, and zero interest in quality. Am I mad & disappointed in something we have enjoyed? You better believe it!! 1)We work too hard for our money to be served food that's not edible & missing items we paid for. 2) I tried to call to correct my order but when they didn't answer and I got an automated message telling me they were sending me an email (which they don't even have my email address) & they couldn't take my call because they were too busy "making other burritos"... well message received chipotle... It was in that moment I realized you don't care!! In other words 'we got your money, we are too busy to deal with you, have a nice day'.
