Was in the area and this place looked awesome. Kinda disappointed. The service was great, and the atmosphere is fun, but food and drink were sadly mediocre.
When I first got my iced latte I swore it tasted like chocolate, I thought they might have put mocha by accident. At the risk of sounding crazy, I mentioned it and they were kind enough to remake it for me. Same thing the second time though - since it’s not mocha, must be something off with the espresso, it’s a weird burnt taste.
Ordered an egg sandwich on a toasted bagel…def not toasted. Chewy bagel, but a fresh bagel and at least warm so it could’ve been worse. I know it’s busy but an extra 60 seconds on the grill/in the toaster would have made a huge difference.
I saw a review mention how good the banana bread is so I got a piece…I feel bad, but it was just oily. Bland… I don’t want to give 3 stars because they really were nice and it’s a cool spot, maybe I didn’t get the things they do best or at the right time, but the name Chef’s Table had me thinking big things were happening with the food and…they just…weren’t,...
Read moreOMG! I LOVE THIS PLACE! THE FOOD IS SPECTACULAR, THE SERVICE IS SNAPPY and you get to pick out what you get and how much! I love it! I really love the salad bar in particular and the place is really cool to hang out and watch lava lamps, listen to 80's and 70's music and get a casual lunch with some friends. Really suggest it. It's a little bit pricy but the food is SO GOOD that it is worth it (most of the time)!!! I suggest the salad bar in particular because of it's excellent selection of delicious foods. I've also heard from one of my friends and my brother that"the corn dogs are awesome!". The soups are good but not that great though but then again I'm not a big soup person. Again: It's a bit pricy so be ready to hand over about 15 dollars for a small salad, drink( if it's water, it will cost less) and possibly a bag of chips (if you add a friend it will be probably more like 20-30 dollars depending on how hungry they are.) Tip: When I go with my friends, we always buy our lunches separately which is good because most of the time my friend's lunches cost...
Read moreSo this is a conundrum...the place itself is great, has a bunch of unique memorabilia that spark great memories, and the food itself is great, but unfortunately they are no longer making food to order, but everything is pre-made and nothing 100% fresh. It was very disappointing because this place was a great place to get your favorite sandwich or wrap...or soup...or whatever u wanted. Again, food is great but not as fresh, and what on the menu is what is only what has been made. Hopefully, they have what you are looking for. It's still better than most places around here, but it's hard when you can't order your favorite sandwich at a...
