Crumbl — Restaurant in Fairfield

I share this as someone who has frequented Crumbl locations all throughout California, Oregon & Idaho with many an orders varying in size from a single $5 order to quite a few orders well over $300 all for work related meetings and have had nothing but INCREDIBLE Experiences each and every time. Sadly today that came to a CRASHING halt. I had a relatively simple order of 4 4-Packs & 2 Singles for $75. I checked in on the app and was #1 in line, when I arrived I was not greeted in any sort of way and sadly assumed the baker was preparing my order, I was wrong, 25 minutes later, still with not even a “hello” I received my order. The boxes were oily & crusty when I got them to my car I discovered the orders were wrong. When I went back in the store there were now 3 employees and I explained the error. No apologies offered just an “ok” with a blank stare. I then watched the 3 employees chit chat and take their sweet time with not only my order but at this point 3 other customers had come in and were also waiting. I then waited another 10 minutes while the employees made more cookies and the one male employee took some for HIMSELF only to be told by the one female employee that they were mine. When I asked nicely if there was a number for a manager I could call later I was told by the female with the blank stare that SHE was indeed the manager. At that point I quietly explained my frustrations and all I got was a “she was the only employee here!”…no apologies, not even a second to hear me voice my concerns. I will continue to use Crumbl cookies for work but after this experience I will NEVER go back to the Fairfield location. Side note, I’ve done my best to reach out to the actual franchise owner but...

Poorly prepared cookies. Misshapen, center of 2 cookies were raw dough, decoration was messy. Something was wrong with the recipe.. chocolate glaze looked like Hersheys syrup, marshmallow cream was a weird tasting vanilla whip cream. I ordered 4 cookies, the only edible one was Butterscotch, which was over baked, it at least tasted good. I ordered on the app and drove to Fairfield because they had they still had the chocolate mallow cookies. The store bleak and messy, one kid working, a few others in the back just hanging out. Everything about my experience and quality of the cookie felt like a teenage shrug of 'I don't know' and 'my bad' unceremoniously dropped into a pink box.

Gave a 2 just for the experience. I ordered online for curbside pick up and this young boy comes out and he tells me sorry for the long wait your order was ready but since you weren’t in the store you had to wait. This was after checking in and waiting for over 30 minutes. They should of communicated it to us and we would of easily walked in to pick up our order that was ready while we were here . And they served us a cotton candy cookie without any topping and didn’t tell us about it besides saying we are pretty much out of everything have a good one.
