I've eaten here on a number of occasions and they are consistently really good. Food is hot, fresh & delicious. Service is on-point. They don't mess around. They get you in, seated, order taken & food delivered to the table like bada-boom bada-bing! If you're on a time crunch for a work lunch they'll get you in & out quick but they do get busy at lunch so try to go either at 11:30a or like 1:15p to get a table. Also they close from 3-4:30 to reset for dinner. You will not be disappointed. There's something here for everyone. The less adventurous eaters will enjoy the familiar potstickers, fried spring rolls & chicken katsu but check the blackboard on the wall for Specials like stuffed sausage mushrooms or crab fried rice. Their fried rice is amazingly buttery, garlicky & flavorful. The fresh rolls are so refreshing with a hint of mint & I could just drink the peanut sauce that comes with them. Pad Thai & Drunken Noodles are great too. All the curries & sauces are already pretty spicy for my wimpy tastebuds but you can always order it less or more spicy. You can wash it down with a beautifully smooth & silky Thai Iced Tea, I highly...
Read moreOrdered Thai Beef Salad, Pad Thai w/ beef, and Pad See Ew beef.
Salad was hardly a salad compared to many other places. The beef was a bit under and didn't really taste all that good. Almost as if it was starting to spoil.
The Pad Thai was dry as if it's been out for a while and not made fresh. I will give them credit for the flavor not tasting like ketchup, which a lot of thai joints do to cut corners. The beef in this dish was better tasting though.
The Pad See Ew I don't have much feedback on because my wife didn't say much about it.
Sad thing was we ordered it to go and by the time we had a chance to taste everything, they were closed. We are from out of town and visiting some family, had to leave early the next day to continue our road trip, and this is probably the last time...
Read moreThis is not real thai food. In fact, it is far from it. Flavors are off. Curries are too runny and bland. Basil chicken flavors are off. Nothing tastes the way it really should. They ripp you off on the steamed rice. If you want a real taste of Thai flavors please visit Thai Spice in Pinole CA. It is about a 22 minute drive from the Green Valley Area. Waitress here couldn't even understand what we were asking. When asked for spicy heat level all they did was just put in the Chinese blend of spicy sauce. No authentic Thai chillies, no spice tray, nothing. Over priced for what it is. The green valley area is so in need of restaurants that this place stays open by default. If this restaurant opened in the Bay Area they wouldn't last six months. I guess it's good enough for the...
