Servatii Fairfield — Restaurant in Fairfield

Today's Servatii's experience was slightly disappointing as it has been on previous Weds for the last three months. I visit there once a month on Weds when it is my scheduled monthly doctor's visit. I would give them a five star rating if the pastry shop would have their popular huge cinnamon rolls covered in their sinful buttercream frosting. The size of the rolls look like their on steroids! My youngest son (33 yrs old) loves them and request them along with Servatii's glazed donuts. I no longer eat the donuts because they changed the recipe of the glaze. Even with the change, my son still likes them. I also like a few of their assorted tea cookies, but I DO NOT CARE FOR their large iced cookies. I PREFER Busken's tea cookies and their large iced cookies. Another PLUS about Servatii's is that EVERY WEDNESDAY IS SENIOR'S DAY - 10 % OFF!

I’m giving a 5 star because the pastries and the sandwiches are Amazing! This 1 ⭐️ is to the young girl I encountered today.

Today as I was waiting for my sandwich I over heard a young lady order a Bavarian Cream and watched one of their workers put a Boston Cream. So I just went over and let her know that’s a Boston not Bavarian Cream, just so she didn’t go home with the wrong one. Long story short the young girl who gave her the wrong one was super rude and had a tone with me saying, “it’s the same thing!” They are both custard. Trying to cover a mistake while making me feel as if I didn’t know what I was talking about. They are extremely different, the texture, the taste. Please look it up if you are going to work in a bakery shop. All I was doing was helping, you are working with customers and if you can’t smile and be nice to people you are in the wrong business.

I usually love servatii. I normally go to the west Chester or Kenwood location. The Fairfield one is horrible. The service was terrible. I am a 27year old women and I feel like I was treated differently then their normal older customers just because I am young. First I was second in line out of four. Everyone was helped before me until I said something about me being in line before the others. I was finally helped but after I politely said I was skipped the man helping me had a bad attitude with me. He overcharged me for my muffin when it was the special of the day. I told the man this and he had no idea what the specials even where! He was very nice to the older customers but I was treated differently. They also carry no heavy whipping cream which makes me suspect that their whipped cream is not made from scratch. I will not be coming back to...
