Sip 'N Swirl Homemade Ice Cream — Restaurant in Fairfield

Hi all, just want to share my experience so that you know what you can expect as I am appreciative reading your experience as well. We have been here a few times last summer and this year so far, some ice cream is better than others. Since I usually get the soft serve, no complaints on the serving size. However, today since the soft serve machine is broken, I ordered a small hard serve. What I noticed is that when I put my spoon in the cup, and scoop sunk to the bottom, and the top of ice cream is no longer higher than the small cup. That was basically a half of a small scoop. I noticed the server didn't press down the ice cream but didn't realize she scooped only half of the scoop. When I told her, she did give me another half of the scoop. Nowadays, restaurants are ripping people off left and right, and I really hope this is not the case here. Will go back to give another shot, but if it continues to give half of the scoop, I will have to go...

Stopped in on a Saturday night & since it's November it was not crowded. They we playing music so loud i could not hear the young man who was waiting on me. I mentioned the very loud music and suggested he speak up, which, of course, he ignored. I was looking for pints and was told i had to buy the pre-packed in the freezer. fortunately a young lady rang me up and she was willing to speak loudly enough to be heard. Family ate the ice cream when i got home... it was bland and tasted like air had been pumped into it. Good news is that there are other homemade ice cream places to get great ice cream at...

They closed at 3:30pm for lunch so i asked the work when will he be back and he said idk and then he left the store I couldn't get an ice cream cake so I took my business to Baskin robins.

Go to the other location once it opens back up since one sucks.
