Five Guys — Restaurant in Fairhope

There is literally not a single negative comment I can make. We stopped in while visiting from out of state. From the second we walked through the door, we were eagerly greeted by the staff that was very busy. When we got to the cash register the gentleman was professional, knowledgeable, and eager to help my family. From the cash register, to the young woman making the shakes, to the ones making the food, they were ALL obviously happy to be at work, and happy to help. They were pretty packed, but they made sure we felt like we were the only customers there. (They did the same with every customer). The food was absolutely amazing. My family pretty much never eats "fast food." While it was made fast, this was not "fast food" results. The staff was amazing and obviously well managed and respected because they genuinely enjoyed putting a smile on every customer's face. Top that off with absolutely delicious food and you cannot beat the experience. Major respect for the employees and the management that has invested in them for them to love what they do! Ok burger, competent staff, probably WORST DRIVE-THRU in the country! Architect and corporate facility guys who designed and approved this mess should be FIRED! Take a lesson on how to design a drive-thru from Chick-fil-a in Daphne just up the same street. Don't waste your time with their totally screwed up drive-thru. It's a shame. They're doomed to eventually close after the novelty wears off and they are left with such a poor facility design!

Prices are pretty steep and overall experience and quality arn't reflective of the price point.

Don't waste your time at this location till they go belly up or totally redesign their whole drive thru system that on top of poor design FORCES the customer to pre-order and PREPAY online before you're even close.

I'll take Wendy's, In and Out or even Burger King any day in terms of value and customer service. Some of those don't set the bar too high so that's really a sad comparison to...

Been to many 5 guys locations. This unfortunately is the worst. Walked in 2 people were waiting for food. My wife and I ordered ours. We waited as people started coming in...they jumped the numbers..my order was 55...they had 7 orders after me. Everyone got there food before me. They called 62 then worked backwards to 55. My wife had a meeting so had to leave and I took hers home for after her meeting. You would think 1 hour would be enough time to eat but not there. Wife ordered no seasoning on fries I ordered mine with seasoning . They dumped all in 1 bag. What a waste of 45.00 for 2 bergers 2 medium fries and 2 drinks. Wouldn't mind paying 45.00 for good service and food. However this place wont be around giving service like this. I wont be back. I plan to go to the Daphne location when I want another 5 guy berger. So sad I...
