TERRIBLE. Cannot even begin to explain how horrible this place is. We waited over 2 hours for our food, and when we finally got it m, it was all wrong! They brought out half the items we ordered, and everything was cold. Not to mention it tasted disgusting. When they gave us the bill which included 7 items they didn’t actually bring out, they began to fight with us. The waiter (the blonde one with a terrible attitude and tendency to yell in Spanish even when it is clear you speak only English) refused to remove the items from the bill that they didn’t provide. Let’s not forget the food was over 2 hours late. She was terribly nasty and began raising her voice. She was steadfast in her quest to overcharge us. Then she went to get the owner (the brunette tattooed menace) who somehow was even more rude than she was. When we asked her to take off the wrong items, she simply just said “no” repeatedly like a parrot. The blonde waiter then accused me of cursing at her, and started whining to the owner that I hurt her feelings. I most definitely did not curse, nor did I act even remotely inappropriate. It was actually quite funny to see how childish the waiter handled herself (at the end she demanded I say sorry, the last time I was demanded to do so being from my mother when I was 7). It is quite evident from the trio of waiters, managers and owners of this restaurant that they are completely and utterly unable to run a business. They served the entire restaurant their meals over 2 hours late, I speculate because they got their grocery shipment midway through their dinner rush, which they proceeded to allow take priority and put all their workers on unloading the semi, which they proceeded to carry straight through the “restaurant” (an open parking lot infested with trash and flies). The flies were constant and when the food finally did come, the flies surrounded us. Not the mention the overwhelming stench of trash lingering. The service, the food and the entire atmosphere was thoroughly repulsive. Whatever you do, never go to this...
Read moreMy brother, sister-in-law, wife, teenage son, and I ate here on a whim on an early afternoon last week, and I had mixed feelings about the experience. On one hand we weren't in a hurry and were enjoying our conversations while we waited for our food, on the other hand it took us over an hour of sitting and talking before we ate our food. We came on foot, walking down from an Airbnb we were staying at and looking for someplace new to eat at. We hadn't walked by previously while they were open, so when we saw activity inside we gave them a try. At first it was odd because their front gate was closed so we thought they may not be open, but our waiter came up and opened the gate for us. There were two other occupied tables in the entire place, but the staff seemed mostly occupied with a professional photoshoot of their food, which continued to come out of the kitchen the entire time we were there. It's entirely possible we came on the wrong day, at the wrong time. When the food finally arrived, it was pretty dang good. We were starving at the time so with mixed feelings we devoured every last bit of the food. All of this is to say that we weren't experiencing rude employees or discomfort (besides being hungry for a long time), so I have to give credit where credit is due. But we never came back during the week we were staying in the area. The restaurant down the street, closer to the beach, we ate 5 or 6 meals out of the week's worth of meals. Attentive staff, short wait times, and delicious food. I couldn't say the same for this restaurant during my one and only experience. Take of this what you will and make your own decision to eat here. The food is good once it...
Read moreYelp and Google sent us to the restaurant an hour early (they opened at noon Sunday), but we didn't mind the wait because it was SO good! The food, the service, the drinks; everything was to die for. We ordered the stuffed lobster and didn't realize just how stuffed it was. It turns out that it was insanely stuffed with all the seafood on top of the lobster. We made the mistake of ordering appetizers thinking it was going to be on the smaller side, even with a 3.5 lb lobster. We got so full we couldn't even finish the meal. The fried calamari was great, but again, the fresh calamari in the lobster was insanely good. I would have gone without had a I realized the size. The turnovers (empanadas, samosas, whatever they may be called) are great. We did one beef and one chicken. You won't be disappointed. The lobster itself was the main show though with calamari, clams, shrimp, octopus, and conch. Sooooo good with the garlic butter sauce. The drinks were also tasty! The pina colada was legit! The price may seem expensive, but you are getting sooo much food that it is worth every penny. I felt so awful not getting the rest to go, but we were so full and were at the beach so we couldn't take it home. Lastly, the service was perfect and welcoming. There are chickens and cats that roam around too while you eat and drink, but the employees are good about cleaning chicken poop. He came back often to top off drinks and make sure all was well. It is such an amazing place we would...
