Overall solid 3.5+ Food: fresh, simple, LOCAL suppliers My own experience: Very friendly, warmly welcoming staff (5/5) Sitting areas: Outside: heavily populated by mosquitoes I still prefer outside especially during COVID-19 (20, 21...?) It’s unpretentious somewhat semi-extension of parking lot with a few plants and a lot of mosquitoes... have I mentioned mosquitos? Staff is aware and prepared to offer you bugs-off spray as soon as you get there (3/5) Inside area is a bit less restaurant but rather school or hospital cafeteria with table service No funds wasted or giving thoughts about design or comfort (2/5) Service: attentive, hospitable and pretty efficient... could be better with recommendations, but it’s a minor (4/5) Drinks: Passion Fruit Mojito was simply good (4/5)
Notes: most of the clientele appear to be “regulars”, not a “random-touristy” visitors
Recommendations: I would come back if I’m close by and definitely ask for a catch of the day... probably not my choice for a pleasant dinner or romantic experience, but rather simple fresh food within a range of reasonably priced. I’ll...

We were so impressed with the quality of the food and the impeccable and friendly service!! We ordered lobster tacos (which are closed then deep fried) as an appetizer. We ordered two not realizing the portions were huge!! Keep this in mind because then we ordered the whole fried snapper!! They bring the freshly caught fish table side so you can pick which one you’d like them to prepare for you! We ordered two sauces on the side, the garlic and red sauce. They were both delicious, but I’d say the garlic sauce was the winner!! We also ordered a side of rice and beans, and the beans were so flavorful!
This was an excellent restaurant in Fajardo and is directly next to the kayaks that take you out on the bioluminescent bay. Stop here for dinner before or after you kayak because it is absolutely worth it!!
I’d recommend sharing as the portions are huge. Also, this was our mistake, but the price next to the snapper said $22 which we were very impressed with. However, it is $22 per lb, so...

Another 20 minutes later, we got our appetizers and had to wait 10 minutes to order our food. Once we ordered our food, the restaurant started to get busy, practically full. Every table besides ours was served, while we waited and waited for our food. What we ordered was very simple, yet an hour and a half later, NO FOOD. Every single person indoors was enjoying their meal, some with fish (takes a lot longer to cook vs grilled chicken and some tacos) we noticed fairly quickly that everyone sitting down inside was a local. I have never in my life felt so disregarded and disrespected. Obviously this business does not appreciate tourists, we got up paid for our drinks and appetizers and left. They had the nerve to tell us “no the food is coming right now” after we waited for the whole place to get served. Tourist beware, you will not get good...
