El Trasmallo de Manolo — Restaurant in Fajardo

We came here for dinner because it's at a convenient location near our Bio Bay Kayak tour.

We only ordered some drinks and appetizers.

Mojito, Sangaria, Medalla, and Passion fruit juice were all safe to order. Nothing can go wrong.

Fish nuggets were amazing! The fish was tender and fresh! And you can taste the freshness.

The chicken wings were pretty good too. I love how they seasoned them.

Seafood Salad in Garlic Butter was amazing. We asked for white rice and beans on the side as a side.....the white rice was amazing with the garlic butter sauce. So we asked for an additional order of white rice just to finish up the garlic butter sauce.

Food was really good, the seafood tasted fresh! However, our waiter was extremely rude to us. He told us we couldn't order from the menu throughout our dinner and had to order everything at once, which we found odd. When we went to pay, we took out our discover card and the waiter told us they didn't accept discover and walked away. We then paid cash and asked for change. He replied "why do you need change if the bill doesn't include tip"...he wanted to keep the change which assumed a 30%+ tip...a pretty generous assumption given his behavior throughout our dinner...I usually leave 20% minimum and higher if the service is...

Wanted to give a strong recommendation for this place. We were staying at El Conquistador and actually struggled a bit to find great local restaurants - ended up going here one night when El Pescador was closed, and ended up going twice. We had exceptional service - attentive and quick, good drinks and exceptional food - the New York Strip Steak was once of the best I have ever had - incredibly well cooked, as was the mahi mahi with the creole sauce and the grouper with the garlic sauce.
