As a global culinary explorer, I've tasted my fair share of cookies, but my recent visit to Crumble in Falls Church has left an indelible mark on my taste buds. I opted for their carrot cake cookie, and it was nothing short of a divine experience.
The cookie's texture was an impeccable balance of crispy edges and a delightfully chewy center. The subtle hints of cinnamon and nutmeg perfectly complemented the sweetness of the carrots, resulting in an explosion of flavor that was truly irresistible. The cream cheese frosting on top added a luscious creaminess that took the cookie to another level of indulgence.
Crumble's cookie selection is truly impressive, with a variety of classic flavors and more creative options like oatmeal butterscotch and honey lavender. Each cookie is a masterpiece, and it's evident that the bakers at Crumble take great pride in their craft.
If you're looking for a cookie experience that will leave you speechless, look no further than Crumble in Falls Church. Their commitment to quality ingredients and exceptional baking techniques result in cookies that are nothing short of...
Read moreThe cookies are excellent (though perhaps not my favorite), but the in-store experience was disheartening, though perhaps what one should expect here in the Little City of Entitlement. They won't accept cash! How elitist and privileged; but then again, we're in Falls Church. I was given some silly rationale about how it prevents Covid, but the real reason probably has more to do with not having to have registers and someone working the counter. Which brings us to: They want the customer to ring up their own order! The young man behind the counter appeared put-out that I actually had the audacity to order from him, rather than do it myself. From McDonald's to the taco place a few doors away, businesses are looking for ways to offload work onto the customer. The packaging is insane! I ordered two cookies, each of which came in their own rigid paper box. How about a bag, or at the least, put the cookies in the same box? In the era of resource conservation, Crumbl goes in the...

We arrive to a full house of patrons waiting (over 10 orders were on the screen for people waiting) and we walk over to the kiosk to place our order as we were prepared to wait and start navigating the options and one of the persons who worked there, whose name I didn’t get, got our attention and said, “Hey, We are not accepting anymore orders right now. Try back in like an hour.” My concern was; “What happens if I come back an hour and get told the same thing? Or ordered online?” which I didn’t even waste time trying to ask. We were completely turned away and disappointed in this experience.
This is not the best way to handle customers when you are busy or backed up with orders. I...
