Conference Table — Restaurant in Falmouth

We decided to return to the Conference Table after many years of not going there( we have a home in Falmouth for over 40 years) The food was good and the host was very friendly. However, our waitress was argumentive and confrontational. I had ordered a drink that required club soda and the soda was flat and had a nasty taste. It was undrinkable( I never ever have returned a drink before). Well, when I told the waitress I didn't like the drink- she started to argue with me , telling me- "its what I ordered - would you like me to show you the bottle, the ingredients" I said no thank you, I don't like the drink. Can I just order another one? She got mad, I then ordered a gin martini- that was very good. Then when our bill came the other bad drink was still on our bill. We told the waitress and she said "to bad that is what you had ordered" and I said," that drink was terrible and we didn't drink it. We would like it off our bill." She then proceeded to stomp off and stated " well, I will see if the manager will take it off the bill". When she returned she threw our bill hard on the table and walked away. In all my years of being a customer at any eating establishment . I have never experienced such a confrontation. I left the Conference Table very upset...

We’ve been looking for an affordable restaurant with good service and great food. Unfortunately, we’ve had many disappointments within the last 6 months…..BUT that ended tonight when we dined at the Conference Table. Doug, our waiter, was absolutely the best! He was attentive and friendly and met all of our needs with a smile. Our meals were very good…..sirloin tips and the most delicious scrod I’ve had. Also, the cocktails were excellent! We will definitely make the CT one of favorites! FYI I only gave 4 stars for the food because the mashed potatoes weren’t hot enough(but...

Tried this restuarant for the first time with my daughter and grand daughter. We enjoyed our dinners very much there. The sirloin tips and the scallops were perfectly prepared. We had the homemade mashed potatoes and fresh green beans with our meal which were also excellent. My grand daughter enjoyed the chicken fingers too. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. She even came out with an ice cream sandwich which my grand daughter loved. Next time I come for a visit I will surely stop in again to enjoy...
