Steve's Pizzeria & More — Restaurant in Falmouth

Ordered pickup. Owner Steve throwing a temper tantrum w/ staff when I arrived. Dropping “f” bombs, treating staff horribly over a delivery order. Steve must have taken all items for delivery order out of bag 3-4 times & each time he got more upset & was completely dismissive of his staff’s attempt to assist. Other patrons were waiting to pick up or order take out - I counted 7 people working there during this temper tantrum, yet no one waited on us as all staff were too consumed trying to assist the owner. One staff member was trying to take a phone order for delivery but was having a difficult time hearing due to the owner’s temper tantrum. The owner even yelled to the staff member “just hang up!” REALLY??? Hang up on a customer?? And you shout this in front of customers waiting?? We used to order from Steve’s 2-3X per week. I will NEVER go back. His complete lack of professionalism and how he treated his staff said it all. I should have just walked out in hindsight. AND I should have told his staff NOT to stand for the toxic treatment. If someone makes a mistake, deal w/ it quietly afterward. Throwing a temper tantrum, treating staff like underlings and the level of toxic behavior that transferred to waiting customers, SO NOT ACCEPTABLE. Ordered 2 pizzas that were not horrible, but mediocre. I’ve never left a zero tip before. Too many other places in town that treat everyone with respect and actually appreciate their customer base. I hate to post this I honestly feel guilty because I know the owner works very hard!! Seems like he does EVERYTHING! Despite having 5 to 6 teenagers back there, they don’t seem to know what’s up. The food is great! Been a regular customer since the beginning! I’m only here because I gotta say if you’re going to raise the price in this climate that’s ok I understand I’ll still support you! But you used to make really big servings! If you ordered a French Fri there would be more then enough to feed a few people maybe even 4! The steak and cheese grinder used to be full and when you ordered the large it looked like a large. I hate to say it but it all seems like you’re cutting many corners. I have a few children and husband so we usually spend 90$ plus tip now and that’s for me to place the order myself online and go inside to pick it up. Updating my review 2024: really good Greek style pizza. You wouldn’t know it as green pizza per say but tasty when ‘done well’ and not burnt. The women there were very sweet. Unfortunately still no ApplePay and we didn’t have our credit card :-( good thing I know my card number.

2023: Decent pizza on the Cape. Not as good as Jack’s or Paul’s in my opinion, but another good option. Unfortunately, they don’t have a marinara pizza and didn’t charge less for no cheese but made the best of it with some veggies on mine. They were pleasant and we waited about 20 min for pick-up. There is seating indoors and they accept cash/cc. You gotta try all the pizza places to find your favorite, so try Steve’s and see...
